5.0 out of 5 stars Great little powered mixer board!
Works great so far! Great cost and sounds very good!
5.0 out of 5 stars Warm, mellow sound, Versatile
Bought this to replace a 4 channel unit for our senior group. I'd added 2 additional wireless mics, and we run PC sound through it as well. So the eight channels are terrific. And there is a separate channel for line, which is where we run the PC sound. It has a number of features we never use, but the equalizer is nice since so many of our members have lost the treble ranges, and we can boost that for clarity. I'd hoped it would work as well and sound as good as our old 4-channel mixer/amp, but it is very much better. The musician members noted that it has a full, warm sound quality. One other very nice thing is that the layout of volume and effects for each channel are clearly identified, some of our members had trouble finding the volume control. I highly recommend this, and also suggest you buy good quality speakers.
5.0 out of 5 stars Powerful, affordable.
Use this mixer for practice with a band and to play music on some events, it sounds awesome, I use two Rockville speakers and two Rockville sub woofers and sounds really good, I bought the Rockville four channel mixer with two speakers and sounded great but then I bought the two bottoms (sub woofers) and then noticed that I needed more power, so I bought this Rockville eight channel mixer and its perfect the effects the EQ and Bluetooth are awesome.
4.0 out of 5 stars Great for a studio, garage or small stage or small club
Easy to setup and easy to control. Too many vendors miss the "feature" mark by either having so few features you can't impact the I/O and master out in the way you want and need or by placing so many features and functions into one unit that are not easily understood, never used and raise the price of the unit for features that only satisfied the audio design engineer who loved spinning their propellor on their hat. This unit has all the fundamental adjustments and is up and running without having to interpret a technical manual or sit on the phone for hours, starved for support while music waits and seems a stretch in your immediate desires. Sound quality is good and loud with punch and clarity. Plenty of inputs as well as MP3, memory card, FM radio and dedicated inputs for 8 devices, instruments and audio devices. The graphic equalizer is a nice function that really allows you to "shape" the music however you like.Best one at this price point.. I will be looking at Rockville for future audio needs for sure. Worth a look and a player in the music space that impressed this drummer w 40 years drumming experience and an absolute audio connectivity maniac. Great job Rockville.
5.0 out of 5 stars did not get to try it out
Mine wa srepairable so I did not use it. I'm sire it's a good product.
1.0 out of 5 stars no volume
We got this for my husband Karaoke business. we have tried to use it twice. Had to change back to the old one. The volume is so low you can't hear the singers.Would give it another chance, but of course I'm 6 days late.
3.0 out of 5 stars Really should clarify that this mixer is only for 8ohm speakers
I'm sure it sounds as good as the RPM85BT but I bought this one first only to read the warning sticker and find out that this mixer should only be used with 8ohm speakers otherwise it'll damage the mixer overtime.3stars because the RPM85BT sounds great.
5.0 out of 5 stars For those who aren't professional DJs
The media could not be loaded. I couldn't find any review that were particularly helpful to people who have little knowledge of music equipment. We needed this for a party at a gymnasium sized venue and a kareoke machine wasn't going to cut it. I just received this and can't account for the longevity of the mixer amp but it was packaged well and the phantom power worked great with the unpowered speakers and mic. We already owned the speakers and mic and was bought for other events that already had a professional system. I posted a video with this to show what it works with and what volumes I had it set at to test. It works great for what we need. Hope this helps others that don't understand all the technical talk and just need to know if it will work for what they need.
Sounding
Good Quality as is should
Faulty or mislead badly
Was supposed to replace a 50 watt amp mixer with 4 mic inputs. Should have worked well if it met specs but it had less power than the old unit and I suspect it was faulty or advertised wrong as it said it would put out 2500 watts. Very disappointed as it looked good on the outside. !
