I am a cardiac rehab registered nurse. I am not diabetic but I bought this blood glucose machine to track and trend my blood sugars as I am trying to be mindful and preventative. It is simple to use. The lancets don't hurt, you can barely feel it poke. It requires a very small blood sample and results populate quick. I would recommend this to my patients as a affordable option as other devices are expensive and some do not have adequate health insurance.

Glucometer I use keeps failing so time to replace it. This one did the job well. Accurate as the GE I had and easy to use. Price is good too.

In the interest of recording glucose data for myself I decided I needed to get one of these monitors. Not a fan of needles 😬 Read so many reviews for other models about inaccuracy of results. This one seemed to have the best consensus as to reasonableness of results. After days of researching I decided on this one.Read all the paperwork and got familiar with everything. I finally took the plunge (pun intended!) and got my first result. All in all I’m pleased with the process, not near as bad as I was expecting. And first result seemed reasonable.I’ll now semi happily able to proceed to get a few readings a day for the next few months. Nice thing is if I need more strips they are readily available everywhere, and even when I travel.As much as I would have liked a glucose monitor that sent its data directly to my iPhone, it’s super easy to add it to my Apple Health app when I get a reading. No other technology needed!

I thought that I was getting the model with Bluetooth, which would have made it with it, but then I was wrong. I feel like it's too expensive. To the person who gave this one star because of 3 different readings, I just duplicated that. I picked my finger 3 times within a minute and got 109, 121, and 115. Those are all within tolerance, though. The machine is supposed to be accurate within 20. I took off a star because of the price.

This kit is great. It includes everything needed to be on your way if your new to home testing. I bought this as an additional kit. My other 2 are a bit older and the strips are not cheap.I tested with my contour next and this one, side by side comparison. True metrix tested 2 points lower than the contour. THis is fine,there will be some variations.Only suggestion is for the directions to be more clear when using the testing solution. The print is small and not very direct on what your looking for. I figured it out, the bottle with the test solution has a level number- mine is one. so using that, when looking at the chart, you use the level 1 numbers.It seems this could be stated a bit clearer as well as larger print so a magnifying glass isnt neededI highly recommend this kit.

All set to test my blood glucose level straight out the box. I saved money by purchasing this kit instead of buying everything individual. The only thing I do not like about this monitor is it has no light at the self monitoring test strip insert. My Endocrinologist recommended this blood glucose meter. All my items had fresh expiration dates and the control solution worked as expected matching the strips bottle. Delivery was as posted at checkout and on time.
