didn't know what to expect, but digitizing old cassette recordings and getting most of the hissing out, you can add tracks and make it sound better than the original if your motivated. still a work in progress but that's on me not the product-

Took 5 minutes. Plugged it in and opened Garage Band. It was recognized immediately. Changed system prefs for sound in and out, and sound prefs in Garage Band for in and out and I was recording my guitar right off. I will be using other software to record but it works as it is supposed to without any software downloaded. I registered it after I saw it work. Then I plugged it into my ipad and iphone and with the camera connector plug from Apple. It works. I ran my pedal board through it also into the mac mini. (M1 chip, Monterey.) Clean sound. I also turned every knob off and ran it into my mac with no problem! Yes, no preamp or mixer or?? Sound through my mac external speakers. 80$ prime day sale.!!! Insane to think I was going to shell out 140- 220$ for the same thing because of a name. I will try out their software just for a giggle but I like Logic and GB. It's a great buy and you will be happy. Just know that unless this is for your teen to start out on, you are working on some of the noisiest preamps in the audio interface line up. You can pay more for a seperate solution to that, so you aren't so much saving money with this. It is still a great buy and am really happy especially because of the bundle of incredible software that in fact does put you back in the realm of saving money, and real producers are going to love for the treasure chest of digital audio workstation integrations.I love straight to USB power. I only went with this because they were smart and included the DAW software, so hopefully they don't stop with that because it makes one of the noisiest preamps more seductive and I was willing to buy the solution to that problem separately, though that hit hurts. Still, go for it. Get into Studio One.

Qualidade, praticidade e ótimo custo-benefício
O produto chegou perfeitamente embalado e com manuais contendo informações bem objetivas sobre como cadastrar, baixar os drivers, softwares e plugins inclusos no pacote (em inglês). Possui corpo de metal e é muito robusto. Os testes de gravações que realizei se mostraram muito satisfatórios, com excelente qualidade e estabilidade sonora. Ótima compatibilidade com os programas (DAW) que utilizo.Excelente aquisição para o meu home studio!

Not able to register product to download software
Although the open box came with a "new" product key, it did not work. Very frustrating. Emailed support and waiting for their response. Original key says it's already registered.Today is the last day for returns so will be returning
