Makes ice super quick! We usually turn it off during the winter, we just fired it up again since it’s starting to get hot in February, makes ice every 22 minutes
5.0 out of 5 stars Surprisingly powerful
I have yet to use it for anything other than cocktails, but I have serious commercial applications planned. However, I was shocked by the power this thing has. I’ve only use household ice so far, but the freaking thing spit out snow in seconds! I felt like I couldn’t feed the thing fast enough and the fact that you can adjust the setting for what level or sort of granular output you want is fantastic. You can make coarse grains like hail, or you can make very fine near snowflake quality. Be ready though, because it really spits that ice out really fast. I would not complain about this, but if they could make the ice shoot in a more narrow spray, it would be absolutely perfect, but until they do that it is just an excellent machine. I’m very pleased, and I honestly have apprehension about buying it from a Chinese manufacturer. So far so good.
1.0 out of 5 stars Unit failed a few months after installation.
Unit worked great when initially installed. However unit has only been in operation for a few months and no longer makes ice. Appears to be refrigerant leak as all other functions appear to work.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great
Use it everyday and works good. Set on 10 mins and the ice is perfect
4.0 out of 5 stars Fairly Happy
The media could not be loaded. It took a bit to figure out how to connect it to our fridge water line. We needed to go get an extra adapter. Then it was a little bit of a struggle to figure out the ice thickness settings as the book is in broken English. However, once we figured it out, it's been making ice with no problem. The only issue we see is, not all the ice mold sections get water over them to make an ice cube. For the price, it's a good little ice maker!
5.0 out of 5 stars Couldn't be happier.
So, I'm a fiber artist and need ice to make my art. I can't call the business "ice cold dyes" without the ice part. Anyway, I was spending at least 300 a year on ice, so I figured I'd give this a shot.I like to think I'm competent at most things. I'm not a plumber, but I've Plumbed if you get the idea. Unboxing is easy, it's kind of awkward to move as it's heavy and a lot of it is made of plastic. I don't have a hole in the basement floor, so I had to elevate it. I used a milk crate and the wood it came on in the packaging to get it off the ground so water could drain.I bought a Y shaped hose splitter with individual on/off knobs. I also had to buy a 1" to 3/4" adapter. Attached to the cold water line for my washing machine, hung the filter in the wall, and plugged the line into the ice machine. This process took all of 10 minutes. You turn it on and it flashes zero. You can press up or down. Up means more time in the base cycle (thicker cubes). Down means less. I am finding -4 is about right for my art. It's easy to use. There's probably more features but I don't need em.It's fast. Almost too fast. I will turn it on and it will be full in... No more than 90 minutes? I haven't actually timed it.Getting it out quickly is not happening. I'm going to order a metal scoop because the plastic one that came with it feels like it's gonna break. But whatever. It works, it's quiet, and the blue light makes me feel like I'm in a spaceship. If it lasts a year, it's more than paid for itself. If it lasts 2 and breaks, I'd buy another if I can't fix it.
5.0 out of 5 stars Good value
Arrived well packaged, no damage. Connection was simple. You need a water source similar to what you would use for a refrigerator with an ice maker. You need about a 1 inch drain opening. You need a 110v source for power. It comes with a short set of supply and drain lines. It also comes with a water filter. I replaced the water filter with a quick change filter from local BB store. Also purchased longer supply and drain lines while I was at it. Hookup was simple as I had a location where everything was available, water, drain, and power.Machine made ice right away. Simple to start and stop. Quality of ice is excellent. The storage tray is not refrigerated but when full it will hold ice and keep cold. When in use the ice will slowly melt and new ice will form on top. When not in use, simply shut it off and empty the ice, or just let it melt. Clean cycle is simple and easy to do.Durably built exterior. Well insulated. Quiet operation.Added note: I built a stand for it to sit on. Makes it easy to get ice without having to bend over. We fill coolers and ice bags and it’s much easier when the door is about chest height.
1.0 out of 5 stars not good
Stopped working correctly after a couple days. At first, the ice would fall down in sheets, and cubes don't break apart easily. Then the sheets would droop down and freeze to the new sheet causing a big ice block where water just kept falling trying to make more ice. I am waiting for customer service to get back with me.
Quick Ice
(function() { P.when('cr-A', 'ready').execute(function(A) { if(typeof A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel === 'function') { A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel('review_text_read_more', 'Read more of this review', 'Read less of this review'); } }); })(); .review-text-read-more-expander:focus-visible { outline: 2px solid #2162a1; outline-offset: 2px; border-radius: 5px; } This machine is great if you want quick ice. The hopper could be colder to allow for the made ice to stay longer but otherwise a great buy. Programable to turn and off, delay ice making and shorten it. Pleased with this purchase.
Great machine for the price!
We put this in our local town centre bar, had a dart tournament with over 200 people there that day and it kept up with the demand we put on it. Excellent machine
It got messed up customer service not responding and helping
Customer service not helping machine is not making ice and they are not responding it still covered under warranty if the warranty doesn’t cover then why they provide it @Bolo plz help to resolve this issue
Great
Easy p easy
Ice Machine
it’s annoying that it won’t keep ice cold in it so unless you making it then it gets used once you walk away the ice melts and you need to drain and do it all over again … for the price you would think it would stay cool
