5.0 out of 5 stars Rope is better than wire
Great harness lead solution. Our dog, as well as us, are pleased with the lightweight durability of the rope-based lead. It is superior to wire due to lighter weight and it doesn’t kink like the wire leads.
5.0 out of 5 stars Highly recommend lead
We use this rope lead for our dog when we let him outside. I like this one more than any other one we've had. We were going through the metal ones with the plastic covering quickly and they would always twist on themselves inside or break with use. This has held up so well, not twisting or anything since it's just a rope. It's also strong enough to keep our dog in the yard. I would highly highly recommend this lead compared to the alternatives.
5.0 out of 5 stars Durable!
These chains are very durable! I've had them for almost a year now and it keeps my dogs secure and untangled!
4.0 out of 5 stars Great multi-purpose tie-out
I bought this when looking for a tie-out to take camping. I have a pup who cannot be let off-leash and I need to ensure that the product is able to withstand his high-energy, rambunctious, rumble-tumble, and, at times, demonspawn behavior. I wasn't too sure how well it would hold up after I received it, especially when comparing it against the more traditional cable tie-outs. I was pleasantly surprised after using it daily during two camping trips.During my first trip, I tried two different tie-outs. I used this one at my tent site, as well as a second higher quality, tougher rope leash in the lunch/gazebo area. The second rope leash is a great quality lead but it was a horrible tie-out and tangled in no time at all. Trying to figure out how my puppy pest kinked it all to heck so that I could free him was especially challenging after a few too many adult beverages. This one, however, was amazing. I was able to remove or reposition it w/ just as much ease as clipping it for the initial set-up. No kinks, no tangles. I quickly started using only this one for the rest of the trip, carrying it from spot to spot to be available when needed.Regardless, I was concerned that it wouldn't be durable. It's extremely lightweight, fairly thin, and my pup did manage to chew off the rubber piece in no time at all. I decided to test it out again during a second trip where it continued to exceed my expectations. This tie-out is lightweight enough that it was easily transported across different sites. At times, I just draped it around my neck while walking the pup. It was during this trip that I also tested out other uses:- Long line: It rocked this purpose, too. Pup had a blast, repeatedly looking back at me to check as if he wasn't sure that he was actually still connected. He could roam to his heart's content, and it didn't catch on anything despite there being ample features around to be snagged given the desert landscape.- Hands-free tether: I clipped one end around my waist and attached the other to the pup. This provided so much more freedom and flexibility!- Secondary/double leash: My pup is a primitive breed. He loves to pull. Although he is improving, he continues to have moments of channeling his inner demonpup to GOGOGOOOO! I used this as a tether to me in addition to his primary leash, and it worked beautifully.I love its brilliant color, weight, and multi-functional use so much so that I anticipate eventually picking up another for ease of convenience. I have a different longer, long line that I also suspect will be replaced w/ a longer version of this tie-out. If the clips were replaced w/ locking carabiners (due to my paranoia w/ an escape artist), it would be almost perfect.
5.0 out of 5 stars SO much better than those plastic-covered wire tie-outs!
Our 50 lb. Mixed breed dog broke her last plastic-coated wire tie out when she saw a squirrel. She took off after the critter and when she reached the end of the tie out, it snapped. This one is SOOO much better! It’s not stiff like the plastic-coated tie outs, it’s a soft, flexible rope with just a touch of “give” to it. Plus, it appears to be retaining it’s color much better than the plastic-coated kind. Those fade very fast and then they become invisible trip hazards outside our camper. We liked this so much that we bought a second one in blue and a longer length. Now, when we’re camping, we have both the longer and shorter versions that can be used depending on how much space we have for her to be outside. Highly recommend this product.
5.0 out of 5 stars Better than a braided cable tie out
As long as your dog is past the chewing through everything stage, this is a great alternative to a cable tie out. Less dangerous and so far hasn’t frayed. We will see if it can make it through the winter, as our usual cable tie out does not, but overall I’m pleased with the purchase.
5.0 out of 5 stars Good deal
Great product, works great for camping for the dogs
5.0 out of 5 stars Very durable, strong, and long-lasting, even with my big buttheads
After 8 months of daily use with my two golden retrievers (70 and 80lbs) pulling hard, these tie-outs are still in great shape! Both ends have a clip so they can be used anywhere I can clip them to a tree or something bolted to the ground that two big, determined dogs working together can’t drag away (Mine can move an big, heavy wooden picnic table). Because the material absorbs water, when temps go below freezing, I bring them inside when not being used. I still use them in any weather and just bring them inside when the dogs are in to prevent damage by the freeze/thaw effect. My old tie-outs were metal and they rusted through in a few months. These tie-outs are still strong and sturdy after 8mos!

Muy resistente para mis perros grandes
Good value and strong
I have a husky cross, who likes to jump fences and run. This lead has stood up to his pulling, lunging, tangling and everything else he's put it through, so far.He has managed to stretch it a bit but it's holding up well, keeping him safely in the yard and out of trouble!
Don't get I'd your pet is a chewer.
It's nicely made and has a little stretch to it. It's definitely much better looking in person. The picture doesn't do it justice looks wise.BUT** if your dog is a chewer, it's definitely won't stand up to that. It's just a braided rope, no cable.Otherwise it's a good buy!
Better than all the rest
I’ve bought at least two a year of the plastic covered wired ones. That said they are strong and unbreakable. BUT this one is worth the price. Very strong and durable. Will never buy the others again I will buy this product again. That’s if I ever need too.
Resiste y segura
La utilizo para pasear a mi perro por la playa, tiene la libertad de moverse y jugar en la arena. No puedo dejarlo suelto pues es un pitbull de 40 kilos que asusta a algunas personas.
