To be able to get outside and "run around" gave such a boost to my invalid husband's morale. Easy to get into and out of, comfortable, easy to operate. His oxygen tank fits well into the basket, along with his phone and extras.Easy to put together. It should emphasize that it must be thoroughly charged before trying to use--we originally thought something was wrong when all alarms were going off and no troubleshooting seemed to work. But...we continued to charge it overnight and ta-da! It worked fine.

I ordered this for my husband because he broke his ankle and with the cast and two bad shoulders, neither a knee cart or wheelchair were doable. My husband actually put the whole thing together himself! Given his conditions above, that means it's a very well made machine and pretty easy to put together.It rides smoothly and maneuvers easily in our house. We haven't taken it outside yet. My only issue is that there's no way to quiet that loud beep. If there were a speaker we could cover it with tape. The noise it makes sounds exactly like a smoke detector, so it's quiet startling and scares us as well as the cat. Customer service was quick to respond via chat. They told me we could follow a video they sent to disengage the wires. The downside being it wouldn't beep for anything... meaning no low battery alert, no horn and would not warn us of other potential problems. Actually thinking of doing it. So despite the loud beep( turning it on, or forgetting to shut it off when idle) it is very nice. Well built, sturdy, easy assembly, simple to drive and has good turning radius. Glad we bought this one!

I was planning an upcoming cruise and was going to rent a scooter on the ship because I knew I couldn't do all that walking with the neuropathy in my feet. I had been looking at these on Bolo, because I knew it was only a matter of time before I needed to own my own. Even stores that offer electric scooters have issues. Either there are none available or, they all have dead batteries and or bad sensors. This model does not disappoint. It loads in easily in and out of my Honda Element and slides right in behind my front seats with the back seats folded up. I can load and unload it by myself and I'm a 68-year-old woman. I highly recommend the Honda Element, too. As you can see from the photo, I had a non ADA compliant cabin on the ship and was still able to park my scooter inside it. The doorway was tight, but it fit. I installed a bicycle bell on the basket within easy reach (too small for the handlebar) to warn people on the ship that I was behind them or approaching to prevent anyone from falling over me. It was a big hit and kids loved it. 🙂 This doesn't have the turning radius of store scooters, but I learned to work with it quickly. I find it easier to bungee cord a grocery basket to the back of my scooter at the grocery store, Sam's, Lowe's, etc because I know that I'll have no drama with the scooter stranding me in the back of the store with a loaded cart so always carry an 18" rubber bungee cord. I keep one in the basket. This is not a paid review and I received no discounts or compensation for it. I just love this scooter because it has opened up my world again. I'll be able to go to county fairs and carnivals again that I haven't been able to attend for the last 5 years because my neuropathy has gotten so bad. I could either wait for Medicare to maybe approve one of these, and it may not be this lightweight, or go ahead and pull the trigger and buy it myself. The cost to rent a scooter for my 5-day Cruise was $250 and that led me to pull the trigger on this. No regrets, I absolutely love it and named it Flash. I ordered the custom decal from Bolo too. If you need a scooter to get around, and don't weigh over 250 lb, this is the way to go. Race ya to the gate!

I purchased this scooter as a gift for my mother, Easy to assemble and very sturdy. Unfortunately, it did not run well through rougher terrain and deep grass. Upon explaining issues with vendor, they refunded our payment and took the unit back with no hesitation. thank you for that!
1.0 out of 5 stars Opened up his world! — Oops! Don’t buy it!!!
We bought this scooter as a gift for my brother. who lives in NYC, while we live in Florida. He has been gradually losing mobility for the past several years to the point where now, at not quite age 65, he can’t safely navigate out onto the street with his rollater walker in his be neighborhood. He was excited about the prospect of new mobility, so when the scooter came with a brake defect—it was so disappointing!!! (Hence the four stars on my original rating.) However, my sister-in-law contacted the company and supplied a video of the problem. Vive arranged for them to return the original scooter and then shipped a new one fairly quickly. The new one arrived yesterday. They charged it up overnight and my brother is thrilled!!! They’ve been exploring all morning. He finally has his independence back! For his privacy, I blocked out his face in the photo, but if you could see it, his expression is so happy!!! Makes a big sister feel wonderful!! The scooter is easy-to-use, maneuverable, compact, sturdy, and pretty fast, too!Update: ZERO STARS!!! The second day my brother took out the replacement scooter, all excited and happy, it suddenly stopped working for no apparent reason!!! The battery was fully charged, the weather was clear, the pavement was level, but my brother and SIL were STRANDED two blocks from their apartment! My 60-something SIL had to PUSH my brother on the scooter all the way back to their building!!! We don’t want another replacement — just a refund. Bolo has assured me that they’ll refund the price if Vive doesn’t, and I’ve already ordered the Pride Go-Go S-74 as a substitute for my brother. (I bought my other brother this model 4 years ago and it’s still going strong.)

Great value and an easy ride. It's smaller than my pride but I like that it fits in smaller spaces. My hubby likes how easy it is to get into the car. He says it is light and helps that the pieces come apart.
Disappointed
I was at first very pleased on receipt of this scooter. I had used it every day since march. Imagine my horror when I switched it on in the bathroom to find it completely dead. I managed to get back to my room and get onto my spare one, but as an OAP and completely iMobile I was frightened.I contacted Vive who replied very quickly telling me what to do, by pressing a reset button.but I'm reluctant to use it Incase it happens again. I don't know what the answer is. But be aware of this happening if you purchase one.Over all before this happened I was very pleased with it , it is a good looking machine and seemed to work well.
