We purchased this as it had great reviews after searching many other offerings. Upon reciept of the unit one of the microphones was DOA. Hotec's customer support was very responsive and had us a new one in a matter of days. Our first use was this past Sunday at a Motorcycle Rally for Parental Alienation. The unit produced a loud and crisp sound for all of our speakers and everyone could here even with the traffic in the background. Lots of great features and excellent customer support. Fits in the saddlebag of my bike. Well worth the $$$.

Did not make it through a three hour event!!!Mics are defective. I’ve got a return this product and maybe things can be different. During my gathering it kept shorting out!! It kept going back-and-forth between the Bluetooth announcement. It was absolutely disappointing!!!! I used it at a hotel for a speaking event. Small group of people room of 48. Two be a little + eight accommodate at the room the volume was very pleasing. Everything else was a bust. We finally unplugged and just put it to the side.

37 years singing. This little portable PA system has the power to hold it's own "reasonable well" even in large auditorium like a church. Good clear sound for vocals and music even when the volume is turned up because the speaker does not distort - sounds clear and full. Not remarkable for bass but sound comes across balanced not tinny in my opinion. Wireless mics work and transmits voice crisp and clear without distortion. Bluetooth syncs the first time automatically every time the unit it is turned on. That is a plus. SD card and USB works right too the first time. All the button functions on the unit actually work with the remote too. That is a plus - plus - plus! I play my viola to the SD card and that sounds great. Well, it works for me and that is what is important! If you are looking for a hassle free portable PA equipment you may want to consider this unit. For the price the quality and design is nicely balanced - a perfect companion if you do not want to set up your fancy audio equipment for smaller gigs.

Gets the job done
It feels a little plasticky and cheap but you get what you pay for- it gets the job done. Microphones connect seamlessly to the amp, and the amp is loud enough for a small gathering (I use it for work presentations). The amp has Bluetooth so you can sync it with your computer or phone to play music. The only downside is you can't use Bluetooth to make the microphones an audio input on your computer (which is a bummer, but again, it's two mics and an amp for $120).***A NOTE ABOUT BATTERIES AND THE MICROPHONES***I put Bolo Basics batteries in the microphones, and one didn't turn on and the other only displayed one bar of battery. I swapped them out for Panasonic batteries and they both turned on with full bars of battery charge no problem. So if your microphones don't turn on, make sure it's a battery problem first.
JUNK.....Do NOT buy!
This is a cheap quality TOY. We used this junk for less than an hour and it already broke and we found many, many problems!PROS: - resembles a karaoke machine if you want your kids to "pretend" they are singing karaokeCONS: - the USB and audio jack cables are way too short - it is all made with cheap plastic - we didn't even use the remote and saw that the battery box lid was broken - the instructions didn't make sense - the buttons on the microphones got stuck - the microphone did not want to connect after a few minutes and the manual was of NO help - the battery holder in the microphone was no longer holding the battery - doesn't come with batteries - when it did work the sound was mediocre - every time you started singing you would hear staticBolo...why do you allow this inferior quality product to be sold?
