My purpose for this item is for cold weather walking/jogging for temperature, wind, and precipitation protection. The typical range of temperatures ranges from 10 deg F to 30 deg F. I was seeking something that provided full head coverage, thin/lightweight (not bulky like fleece, and sufficient breath venting to minimize moisture collection inside the mask.Overall, it is fine, and usable for my purposes. I have used fleece hoods that work well but are very heavy, bulky, and not ideal. This is a synthetic material, which means it wicks away moisture instead of wool/cotton which soaks up moisture. This can also have a bit of a cooling effect when perspiring a lot - mixed bag as while active you stay warm, but if activity level decreases, you may feel chilled. This works well, and yet for me, windy/wet/very cold conditions tempered the warming retention. This material is one size fits all, and it stretches. This is quite nice for wearing in various configurations such as just as a cap, cap/neck covering, full head/neck w/o mouth covering, etc. Having said this, the fit is a little loose as opposed to a tight fit on the face. This meant that I did get some wind leak in. In very cold temps around the cheeks/mouth. I have worn a sports cap to increase warmth in very cold conditions. This should work well fit those customers who want something that fits under another covering such as a helmet, ski goggles, cap, etc.This works fine for me, at least to the level at which it was been tested to date (approx. 20 deg F, little wind). I'll continue to use this for my cold-weather activities. In the future, I may seek something that varies in size, still stretches, and has a tighter fit on the face.

This baclava keeps your whole head warm during winter. I can camp in winter and know my head will keep warm. Great investment.

Unfortunately I can not tell you if this mask really guarded my face (head)well enough to say that it was a good buy. Why, because our winter was practically over by the time the mask arrived 😆. But it did fit well, it’s comfortable. I guess we’ll just wait until December to try it out.I give it 3 stars for fitting well.

I've spent a good amount of time riding the motorcycle in 20's and 30's with this thing on. Was it cold? Yes. Was my neck cold? No. My neck stayed very warm despite the temperatures. There was only one time when the cold outside started to bite in a little bit, and the windchill being well below zero was a good reason for that. I put a full lined fleece one over it, since it is much thinner than you expect and it kept all the air out and was fine after. Wash it regularly though. I had noticed it stretches out a slight bit around my face when I leave it unwashed for a few a week or so, but it does snug back up when you get it back out of the dryer. It is modular, and the cap design doesn't get into my face putting my helmet on, and it's nice to be able to pull the face mask down when I don't really need it. The mesh on the front is nice to be able to breath through, and typically doesn't fog my windshield unless I leave the vents closed. Over all, I highly recommend it for winter rides, or to take for skiing or whatever ever other winter fun you like.

Easy to put on, take off. The most important portion for me is the neck area. Thankfully its very loose and does not restrict around the throat, very loose at the bottom so it doesn't restrict head movement either.
