Good quality! My daughters used them to make Christmas ornaments. They were the perfect size and very few had cracks. We were also sent 56 circles instead of just 50!

I got these for a Modge-Podge laser-printer photo-transfer ornament project [Anne Voskamp]. They fit the bill. The seller acknowledged possible cracks & flaws in an included note, and therefore threw in a few extra pieces--I think I got 53 or 55 total. Some holes were drilled pretty high, resulting in cracks which had to be glued/filled. Not a huge deal for me since I was "painting" over the sapwood anyway.My set were a very consistent depth (3/16") and fairly consistent diameter (~2.5")--a few were too wide or narrow for my precisely 2.5" printouts and some were insufficiently circular, but I got 25-30 good options for my 25 ornaments. The oddball leftovers will get painted by kids or something.There is definitely some color variation and my set also had a pretty dark grain in the rings on most of the rounds (see picture), so be aware (I used thinned white paint to smooth out that contrast somewhat). The included twine (brown, natural-looking) is good.All in all, the description was detailed and accurate, the merchant was thoughtful, and since other sellers are charging the same price for 3/5 of the quantity, this was a good deal. But the holes should be drilled a bit more consistently from the edge, and 1/16" further in, probably.

When I opened the package, all the wood slices looked so beautiful and really well packaged. Can’t wait to use them. They also added extra wood slices, which was very nice.

Bought these for my students to make ornaments. There were several damaged/weirdly shaped pieces in the box. Bark knocked off, cracked, oblong pieces (some of those made the cutest ornaments). I was sweating having enough “good pieces” for both of my classes. Luckily some of my students preferred the less-than-perfect pieces so we finished the project and I even had a few pieces to bring home for my own Christmas.
