We decided we could use an electric grinder vs all the hand types we currently own. Chose this one and it worked perfectly. Being that it's new and we've only used it once, can't attest to longevity but with our first attempt we found the instructions clear and easy and the grinder worked great. And clean-up was also easy. So, so far, so good.

I was so excited to get this item, unfortunately I had read a couple of reviews prior to purchasing and decided to give it a try, some people didn’t like that it’s not dishwasher proof, and some mentioned black stuff in the meat.When I got this I gave it try, I used ice to check it out, and there were metal shavings, then I tried it with a small amount of meat, and there were black stuff in the meat, when picked out with tweezers, because it gets grinded into the meat, it was mental shaving. That’s dangerous to swallow, and therefore I can not use this item and returned for refund. No questions ask for reason why I was refunding and so decided to make sure that everyone knew that this is NOT SAFE HOUSEHOLD ITEM TO USE. Mental shavings is bad for you to ingest.

Great little grinder
I've been on a diet for the last 3 months, and this grinder has helped me immensely. I love meat and I love sausage, so I thought that if I bought low-fat beef pork and chicken, I could grind it myself and put in the amount of fat that was good for my diet.I have made sausage, hamburgers, and other dishes with ground meat made in this grinder. I've also lost 35 lb in the last 3 months, so this grinder is amazing in that it allows me to eat the foods I love with less fat.The grinder assembles in seconds, the pieces are well made and easy to wash. I have noticed that the grinder gets a little warm when using it for five or six minutes, but it never loses power and I can go through 5 lb of meat very quickly.

Funciona bien. Solo que si, no le pongan carne con hueso porque se puede atascar. Igual con carne muy fibrosa le cuesta un poco. Sin embargo por el precio, cumple con lo que promete. Bien
Seems well made.
As vegetarians we don't use this to grind meat, but to grind semi cooked lentils to make stuffing for Indian rotis.It works great for this purpose, although it won't be challenged by such light duty tasks!
