5.0 out of 5 stars Still uses ancient Mini USB connector
Everything about these units that I've tested have been very good for the price. I can talk clearly and hear clearly all the way up through the 65+mph range. If you set the speakers in the right spot in your helmet, of course. That can be a little challenging depending on your personal set up.They are just like most other bluetooths. Connecting to your phone is easy. Getting used to the different button commands may take a little time, but it's mostly pretty intuitive.Ultimately, it's a great little system that won't cost you as much as other big, well known brands. The ONLY thing I dislike, is as I mentioned in the title: it's not USB-C. It's the dreaded Mirco USB connection, with the flat side with two small prongs. So just be very careful, because these connectors are notoriously short lived. If they had swapped that out for a standard C connection, it'd be perfect.
5.0 out of 5 stars Definitely worth the money
Sound quality isn’t perfect. But it’s pretty dang good. VERY loud too. You really can’t beat it for the price. Considering the price point of the mainstream versions of these products, this thing is great.
4.0 out of 5 stars Works really well and sound is decent for the price
Install was super easy and loved the 2 mic options that were included. 1 for open-face helmets and 1 for closed-face. You do need to read the instructions for setting up and pairing with the other unit and or with your phone. The sound quality was a little off when we first installed but found that I didn't have the headphones and mic plugged in all the way. Needed to make sure it was pressed in hard and then the sound improved. The intercom function sounds good and the hands-free communication is great. It's not the best sound quality for music played from my phone but it works well and switches from music to voice or phone call without issue.
5.0 out of 5 stars What we needed
This is exactly what we need to ensure that we can communicate with each other on motorcycle rides. Was easy to pair, hook up to the helmet, and use.
5.0 out of 5 stars Game changer
Really enjoy using it on my rides. The quality is not that great but anyways, with all the noise from the outside, it doesn’t matter that much. Overall, it’s a really nifty device that allows me to enjoy some music. Take phone calls without fumbling through the phone while riding. Have never tested the intercom, but I’ll report back once I do.
3.0 out of 5 stars Works, but not great
We've had this set for one year and used it on our 3/4 helmets. It works great under 50 mph on a v-twin motorcycle, but going 55+ its usefulness is reduced significantly, and we end up having to repeat ourselves. Instead of getting frustrated with each other, we wait until we start slowing down for the next turn when speaking. I think the price matches the functionality, so three stars for us.
5.0 out of 5 stars Game Changer at a fair price
Partner and I wanted to be able to chat when riding around town. We now talk about everything instead of yelling at stop lights. Bought a second set for my son. He is six, and I wanted to be able to talk him through learning to ride his dirt bike. So much of the anxiety in watching a little learn power sports is gone now that I can talk to him through each lesson while it happens. Battery life is exceptional. Left one off for months and turned it on to 90%. Range is at least as stated, probably further in a clear line. Was able to easily link three of them for a joint ride in the woods. Completely changed the experience to a group dynamic instead of individual. We linked to the other brands that are 3x more expensive and work just as good. When linking four together, be sure the middle rider is the master link to ensure everyone can hear.
5.0 out of 5 stars Not just for motorcycle helmets
My wife and I got e bikes and started riding them. The thought was its something else we can do together. We rode a few time and found we can't ride side by side much if at all so we end up not being able to talk. I got this intercom set and installed it on our helmets. Sticking the main device on the side of the bike helmet was pretty much the same as a motorcycle helmet. The speakers and boom mike had to be stuck on differently. I use the velcro speaker mounts and cut them in half and placed them at the top of the ear arch. They hang out a bit but end up being right above the ear and work great for hearing each other. The boom mike had to be mounted on the side of the helmet which makes the orientation off but I was able to twist the boom slightly and get it close to the correct side towards our mouths. In operation they worked very well. We were able to communicate even when almost out of sight on a straight away. The noise reduction worked well. Bicycles just don't go as fast as a motorcycle so there is never going to be as much wind noise. I highly recommend these if you want to be able to talk while riding bikes.
Amazing product
I recently purchased the intercom system for helmets and I am absolutely blown away by its exceptional quality and user-friendly design. The packaging was top-notch, ensuring that the product arrived in perfect condition. The intercom system itself looks and feels amazing, with its sleek and modern design. One of the standout features of this intercom system is its large and easy-to-find buttons, which makes it effortless to use, even while wearing gloves. The sound quality is exceptional, with crystal clear audio and minimal distortion, even when riding at high speeds. It's perfect for communicating with family or friends when riding together, making the journey much more enjoyable.Overall, I would highly recommend this intercom system to anyone who enjoys riding together with friends or family. It's an excellent investment that will make your journeys safer, more enjoyable, and more memorable. Five stars!
Nice device !
I had some speakers in my motocycle helmet with an aux cable but couldn't use it anymore so I got this one. Really satisfied with the device. Easily connect to my phone, not too bulky either. Didn't try calling yet but the sound is still good. Not the best sounds quality but it does the trick !
Easy set up, wish I got this sooner
Light, easy set up, easy to use, best money I ever spent
Great value for price
I ordered these and my friend ordered them as well. Install is easy. Quality is pretty good. Music isn't the best sound, but for this price I can't complain. Voice sound and ease of use are spot on. Customer service was great. I had an issue with a mount, I contacted them and a replacement was sent quickly. I recommend.
Garabage. They lose connection every time
Purchased in Aug 2023, gave up Feb 2024. Impossible to pair to another rider.Good: These arrived promptly, look sturdy, and the internal helmet installation is good.Bad:The problem is that these are decorative, as they never work. I bought two, to talk to my young passenger. Every time we use them we have to go though the whole re-pairing process. And, after a couple of months, they never worked anymore. 9 times out of 10 the connection steps dont work. We try over and over again, turn on, turn off, and no connection. One says it's at 100% battery, even though I've turned it on as often as the other... for the last couple of months they only connected once, even after thirty minutes of pairing, pairing, pairing.Look for something else, for reliability.
