Great for any level of embroidery. You may have to YouTube some of the stiches if you don't know them because the pictures just don't cut it. I love that it comes with everything you need, except scissors.

I think the colors are beautiful. The kid does come with all the materials you need to complete the projects. However, for a total beginner to embroidery my friend and I had to look up some videos on how to get started and also the videos made learning the stitches easier. Youtube to the rescue.The paper instructions do have photos showing each stitch, it does tell you what stitch for each section, and the pattern is printed on the fabric. However it is like ok, if you don't know how to separate the threads as each bunch of floss is 6 threads, the instructions say use 4, well you have to look that up. How to start and how to finish, how to secure the ends of the thread. So it is a decent kit for beginners however don't expect to get all the info you may need from it. Youtube beginner videos to help.

My first time embroidery and loved it! It was a very easy pattern, though the directions weren’t super clear on how to do some of the stitches. I had to YouTube a couple different stitches but that wasn’t a problem! I’m definitely hooked on embroidery now!!

This kit is perfection! I wanted to learn how to do embroidery and this kit has everything needed. Honestly, I’m so impressed by the quality of the materials. Where else will you get 3 pieces of designed-printed cloth, color coordinated high-quality skein (with extra left over), 2 needles per piece (for a total of 6 needles!), an embroidery ring, and easy directions for such a low price? I loved working on the pieces. I started with the easiest one (with the simplest embroidery) and it took about one weekend to complete because I wasn’t working continuously on it. I looked up the simple stitches on YouTube.Can’t wait to display my pieces with pride. They look gorgeous!

The colors are great and the directions are terrific. Each kit comes with 2 needles and more floss than you need. These are going to be very neat gifts.

I purchased this set as it was described as for beginners. I have never done embroidery before and loved the look of the pattern. I chose not to return the set and rather teach myself how to embroidery by looking at YouTube videos.

Just wanted to try a new craft. I wasn't expecting the kit to include instructions on how to do every stitch type that the piece needed! A very welcome surprise. Came with everything necessary to complete the projects, very easy to understand. I wish it came with the threading tool, I struggled but that was a very cheap and easy tool to get my hands on. Great price, great product, would def recommend to anyone interested in trying this for the first time!
Super Cute and Easy
Great little set for quick on the go projects. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is that the embroidery floss is NOT cotton, so when I started to iron it, it melted the floss slightly. Thank goodness I quickly realized what was happening and managed to salvage it, but be warned. If I ordered them again, I might replace the floss with my own cotton or wool.
EXCELLENT FOR BEGINNERS
Gave this as a gift to 3 grand-daughters. They really liked it, enjoyed working the project with little to no frustrations.
Super cute and has everything you need to start
Got it for my daughter (in her 20), she spent three hours yesterday practicing her line stitches. Love that everything is ready for you. Yes, you do need to find a YouTube tutorial, images are hard to read, but I didn’t expect that to even be included, so all good. My only wish, if the set included a threader. Ordered separately, as we weren’t able to actually thread the provided thread. Overall, good product for the price.
