Works perfectly. Been great and keeps food warm long. Been using for about 4 to 5 months now and is still very durable and works great with no issues. Pretty easy to clean depending on what I put in it. Sometimes I have to use a brush. My hand definitely doesn’t fit in it or to the bottom. Great size to feed a teenage boy his school lunch. It seals tight and have never had an issue with anything leaking.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great construction and what you expect from Thermos. I bought two at the same time to test.
In a perfect world, this would be a wide-mouth jar and therefore convenient to directly ladle in chunky homemade soup, but I adjusted and used a canning funnel and all is well. I filled one with super hot, (unable to eat) chunky veg soup at 6am, and by lunch at 10am, it was perfect temp, albeit a little too hot still to consume quickly. You need to keep the top on it to avoid any potential heat loss through the single wall neck. The second jar I filled with room temp mango juice and four big ice-cubes. I expected the cubes to melt down quite a bit while cooling down the juice and then hit a cold parity, and checked it at 7am. Since 7am the cubes have barely shrunk in size over the last 3 hours. Again, keep on the lid, and not just the stopper by itself. Simple physics. I will source replacement seals now for future use. The food savings alone will more than pay for this jar in the event I need to buy another.

After buying so many products that fail to live up to reviews and ads, I have decided to start posting my experience with every new purchase with tests and pictures so others can make up their own mind. I have already stopped buying USB cables, wire, etc that are not namebrand or certified as in the case of HDMI cables, etc. Yeah.... real products that work costs a lot more but as a tech business that installs sound, lighting, and video systems, they have to work. I don't have time to fiddle with crap parts. Been there, done that, and I'm through. The same with stuff I buy for the household. From now on, things that don't match the advertised expectations I'll return immediately.Last night I put water in this thermos at 164 degrees around 11 PM. Today I checked around 11:30 - about 12 hours later and it was 140 degrees. Excellent! Obviously I would likely not wait 12 hours to eat whatever I put in there for lunch, likely I'd load it around 7AM to eat around 12 or so, this thermos should work fine for that length of time. This is a keeper. It's smaller than what I thought it might be, didnt look at the details close enough, but the portion size is adequate for a light lunch. I would consider getting another one for another food item if wanted sometiung like stewed beef in one and rice in the other or consider one of the larger products I saw that is powered by 12v / 120v. But my needs are ocassional as I dont spend that much time on the road. This will work fine for my needs.

Works great. I cook my lunch in the morning about 5am and throw it in here. Still great temp by noon. I like the large size and can fit quite a bit of food in it. You aren’t going to fit your hand inside to wash it so you do need to use an extended reach sponge. Only thing I dislike is the gaskets are kind of annoying to take off and wash every time but it’s a necessary evil I suppose. I like the ones from here over the ones in big box stores because these don’t come with the folding spoons. Just makes washing and drying it easier.

This thermos is ideal for temperature extremes.Two different vessels - but I have used it to keep a baby bottle with warm water for about 8 hours. I simply added hot water and stuck the bottle right in. I didn’t use the inner lid, as the baby bottle kept it from screwing in. If closed properly, the top won’t leak.Also— kind of specific for my work. But it is also super effective at keeping liquid nitrogen for easy top offs for 4-6 hours. If it isn’t opened too much, the liquid nitrogen will stay relatively ice free as well. In this case- we remove the rubber gaskets from the inner lid and of course do not seal the either lid all the way.It is a great vessel!!! Can’t recommend it enough.

The media could not be loaded. I bought the smaller version of this thermos for my son and it turned out great! Kept his food hot! This larger one has a different lid than the smaller version. I don’t know if that has anything to do with the performance or if I just got a faulty one. I’m going to return this leaky one and it give it another try. I find it’s a good looking thermos for a very fair price. I suggest you try before you use. I would have given it 5 stars based on my experience with other Thermoses.UPDATE!I compared the seals with another thermos and found the leaky one was not on properly. I bought it “like new” so I’m wondering if someone had tampered with it. I included a picture of what the rubber seal should look like. There’s a ridge that should be facing outward. Now the thermos has zero leaks. Definitely a 5 Star product. My son uses it daily and says his food is hot! I’m looking to get a third one.

This thermos does what it says. Keeps my coffee HOT for 12+ hours. It holds a lot of liquid for it's diminutive size. Dishwasher safe top rack is working well. I recommend this thermos!

Vale totalmente su precio, mantiene mis bebidas calientes hasta 6 hrs. A las 8 hrs siguen templadas. Incluso lo he utilizado para transportar comida, se enfría más rápido pero funciona. El diseño es bonito y ha aguantado bien algunas caídas. Hasta ahora no se han salido los líquidos, aunque tengo precaución de mantenerlo en vertical. Nunca he tenido problemas con productos marca Thermos.

I have more than 30 thermoses--many different brands, sizes and models. They are mostly top quality THERMOS and STANLEY brands. I use them for varying purposes.I am going with my grandsons on a wilderness canoe trip where we will be making overnight oatmeal to make possible a faster start to our mornings. We will also be taking hot chocolate or soup or mac 'n' cheese in thermoses for a break when canoeing. I needed thermoses which hold the heat as efficiently as possible.I preheated each of the 30 thermoses with boiling water, then refilled it with boiling water, and measured the water temperature after 4, 8, 12 and 24 hours. I don't pretend to be completely accurate although I did use an instant read digital thermometer. This model was among the top 4 in heat retention. I bought 2 of these to add to the 2 of another brand which I already had for the canoe trip.Then we went to view the eclipse in a 100% zone. I knew that there would be no facilities with food available, or it there were, the lineups would be long or the food gone. Crowds were anticipated to be 10x the population of the urban centers. I packed pulled turkey in these 2 thermoses and other similar hot food in the other two thermoses of a different brand. There was no comparison in heat retention. I immediately bought 2 more of this model for our wilderness canoe trip this spring. The other thermoses will be relegated to less important uses.I don't pretend to be an expert. But I do care about results. One of the top 4 thermoses was a THERMOS that kept coffee hot for >24 hours. The other top 2 were STANLEY models which kept boiling water for washing hands and dishes on the eclipse trip much too hot to use and homemade organic hot chocolate in coconut milk too hot to drink without cooling it down first.I can tell you that having a relaxing quality hot meal with healthful food in a crowded event where others wait in long lines is well worth the cost of these thermoses. We knew that there could be even longer traffic jams on the trip home so we had another meal ready.These thermoses are practically indestructible and very efficient. They are worth every penny.BTW, the other THERMOS in the top 4 of my thermoses was the Thermos Stainless King Vacuum-Insulated Drink Bottle, 24 Ounce with the narrow mouth. One of the worst was also a THERMOS. So it is important to read other reviews. The brand name is important but so also is the design.
