I make "pour over" coffee in this and it stays steaming hot all day. I use the coffee I love and save money daily. I also make hot tea by cutting the tags off of 3 tea bags and adding hot water. buying coffee by the cup is $3 to $5 each. I made up the cost of the thermos in one week. the pour is perfect: no drips, no spills. My office mate is happy to use the lid as a cup while i use my own pretty tea cup to drink from. It is attractive sitting on my desk and convenient to carry either by the handle or in a travel bag. it is far more convenient than making my own coffee at work, or drinking horrible office coffee. I can even add what i like to the thermos of coffee at home so no spilling sugar or cream on my desk. I look forward to bringing a thermos of hot broth to work this winter!

I bought this to keep water hot enough to brew tea a few hours after boiling, and boy howdy did it deliver. My husband wanted to hold afternoon tea for his mom for mother's day, with takeout from a local tea house, which includes loose leaf tea to brew at home. We wanted to bring everything to a park, so we packed up cute tea cups, and filled this thermos with boiling water to brew fresh tea when we arrived.I tested it's ability to retain heat before we used it for real, so I filled it halfway (one electric kettle full) with boiling water, closed it all the way, and forgot about it. Almost 2 days later, it's still hot enough to be uncomfy to leave your finger in, and certainly hot enough to brew tea.I found it easy to open and close, and I like the pour spouts on either side of the stopper that you can use when you unscrew it a bit, but really love that when it's fully tightened (with just normal grip strength, nothing crazy), it doesn't leak at all. That being said, this is definitely not a commuter drink it in the car travel mug, it's more of a campfire-side stationary use thermos, but it's still decently portable. Since it doesn't leak, you could easily use a carabiner to clip it to a backpack, or put it inside a larger backpack. I don't love the handle for constant holding, though- it's like those strange flat-collapsing handles you'd find on an old school metal lunchbox- so I wouldn't carry it around that way.As another reviewer mentioned, the care guide is inside the bottle, so make sure you remove that before you wash or use it. In these instructions, it does say it's top rack dishwasher safe (I'd love to know how on earth they think we're fitting a 40oz tumbler in the top rack of a dishwasher though), but recommends hand washing because dishwasher detergent is harsher and could hurt the finish. I'm a death-before-hand-wash girlie tho, so here's hoping it holds up in the bottom row of the dishwasher. It looks quite nice right now, but I'm not super pressed about it if that goes to crap from dishwasher use.I'm hopeful this will last us a very long time, but I'll update if/when it becomes unable to properly do it's job.

This is a very nice thermos and it keeps my coffee hot for a very long time. I took off one star because of something I consider stupid on the part of the manufacturer. When I first received the thermos, I put some water on to boil and filled the thermos and let it soak for a couple of hours. I shook it and dumped the water. I then refilled with boiling water and left it on the sink for my husband to use the next morning. He shook it and dumped the water and refilled it with boiling water till his coffee was ready since he would be fishing all day and wanted to give his coffee the best chance of staying hot. He stayed so busy that he only drank one cup of his coffee. When he came home, he forgot to bring his thermos in and it sat in the boat for a couple of days. When he brought it in, I began dumping the old coffee out. Imagine my surprise when several little pieces of paper began coming out with the coffee! At first I was mad because I thought one of his friends had put the papers in there as a joke. Now though, we are both convinced that these were papers put into the jug by the manufacturer to tell about the warranty. Why inbthe world would you put paper work inside b the jug itself? The neck is narrow and hard to see down into the rest of the jug. I can't imagine what kind of paper could withstand all that boiling water and shaking and not come apart and come out but this paper held together tight and if it hadn't soaked in coffee for half a week, I could probably make out letters on the little pieces of paper. So, just for your FYI, check really well for papers down inside the jug before washing it out. What a stupid place to put the paperwork. Spring for a box or at least a little string to hang the papers around the neck.
Realmente guarda temperatura
Muy buen producto. Aunque la pintura en un mes ya se ve desgastada del brazo sujetador. Lo demás conserva muy bien la temperatura por horas. A veces se me olvida y por la tarde todavía tiene muy buena temperatura.
Justo lo que queria
Excelente termo, buena capacidad y buen diseño. Lo usamos con agua caliente y la salida de agua esta muy bien. Hasta ahora funciona perfecto y nos gusta mucho.

Excelente produto, creio que foi a melhor compra que fiz no último ano. O café fica quente 24 horas (quente de verdade). Muito bonita e excelente acabamento. Recomendo.
This product has done for me what it is intended to do
I love my thermos. It came in one piece and keeps my coffee hot. I have only used it for hot drinks so I cannot comment on the cold. Great buy for coffee.
