The Ambient Lighting Infinity Powder is a hidden gem. Not too shiny or matte and a.lovely very light beige/tan color. I am medium skin tone now that it’s warmer here in Texas. I used a very light dusting of a pressed powder foundation as a setting powder and then applied the Infinity powder gently sweeping it over my face 2 times. I am in love. Next I am going to use a translucent setting powder under the Infinity and see how that looks. I’ll use a bronzer to warm it up if needed. The beauty of this powder is that it gives the right amount of color and highlighting and it’s subtle. Don’t use a heavy hand. I have many of the Hourglass Ambient powders and this is my favorite. I don’t write many reviews but this is warranted.

I loved how this looked at first. Blurred imperfections, gave me a lovely glow- but throughout the day I became red. Being red isn’t new for me, but I wear makeup to cover it, and this seemed to aggravate it. I’m not sure if it’s the mica? No clue.

See title… leaves a powdery film that settles into any skin texture. I have good skin, this managed to make it somehow look worse?
