I never had one of these, I always thought they were useless, I was wrong, they make breaking meats, ground, or cooked in crockpot so much easier it’s incredible, the material is strong enough to get the job done, and it does not ruin my pans, easy to clean when done after use, handle is good.

When frying up ground meat, it is often difficult to prevent pieces from clumping. This tool will help to break up the meat in quick fashion. It's made of a plastic or nylon material so it won't scratch a Teflon coated pan. I'm glad I bought it and use it regularly.

Feels and appears sturdy, performs well. I like that there are 5 blades instead of three or four. It makes breaking up meat fast and much easier than using a spoon or something else. It’s sharp enough to break up the meat but not but your hands if you touch it. The handle is nice and big, comfortable, and doesn’t slip out of your hand. It easily cleans off in the dishwasher.

This was an excellent purchase. The one I had turned up missing, but it was flimsy. This one is much better for the price. It doesn’t bend or flex too much where the handle slims down to the blades. It really holds up when you are working with ground meats.

Works well, but...
Breaks up ground meat well, but may scratch pans. There is water that gets trapped in the handle after washing in the dishwasher. Also, there is meat that gets caught between the blades.
It crumbled some ground beef but...
.. the head just broke right off when I rapped against the bowl to get some crumbs off! Oh, well, back to the big spoon.
