5.0 out of 5 stars Good Stuff!

This type of oil was recommended to me by my dermatologist. I am pleased with the price compared to others, and it does a great job of moisturizing my skin after my prescription retinoid cream, along with a night moisturizer. It soaks right in and my aging skin (I'm 42) loves it! A little goes a long way! I accidentally knocked it over on my bathroom counter and still have plenty left to last a while. Will likely repurchase!
5.0 out of 5 stars Very hydrating!
This saves my face on days when it feels really dry! Makes my face super soft and shiny. Not greasy at all though. The quality is really good it is definitely worth it.
4.0 out of 5 stars A little thin, but otherwise great
I love squalane. I started using it about 4-5 years ago and ordered it from The Ordinary. They have been out of stock and I could not be without it. I have sensitive combination skin and squalane is amazing for my skin. This was my first time using this brand and compared to my normal brand it is a thinner consistency. I prefer the thicker, but this works fine, I just have to use a few more drops at a time. I love the texture and the way it feels on my skin, a bit velvety and silky. I use squalane exclusively after washing my face when I get an outbreak of perioral dermatitis and it goes away within a couple of days. Great stuff. Wish the texture was a bit thicker, but like that I have a backup brand that feels reliable and makes my skin look fabulous and healthy.

It is nice , moisturizing, but not greasy..
5.0 out of 5 stars First impressions
I love it so far. I’ve been getting the Good Molecules one, but this one is just as good but less expensive for the amount given. I’ve used it twice and it’s exactly what I wanted. It soaks in quick and not greasy and works well with my elf foundation
5.0 out of 5 stars Impressed
I’m impressed with the quality of this product, the price and the brand in general. I’ve added a few of their products to my routine as they are super cost effective over other brands I’ve been using and with the same, if not better, results.
5.0 out of 5 stars PERFECT under nighttime moisturizer AND your morning sunscreen
I have super sensitive skin, and this stuff is amazing. Applying after a spray toner, or on damp skin provides the perfect amount of moisture and "plump and glow" underneath your nighttime moisturizer or morning sunscreen (I use just a few drops under sunscreen and 6-8 drops at night). It doesn't irritate my eyes, which is rare, and is easily one of the best serums for the price. 10 out of 10, would recommend.

Lightweight and Hydrating for Acne-Prone Skin
(function() { P.when('cr-A', 'ready').execute(function(A) { if(typeof A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel === 'function') { A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel('review_text_read_more', 'Read more of this review', 'Read less of this review'); } }); })(); .review-text-read-more-expander:focus-visible { outline: 2px solid #2162a1; outline-offset: 2px; border-radius: 5px; } I’ve struggled to find a facial oil that hydrates without clogging my pores, but this squalane oil from Minimalist has been a great addition to my routine. It feels lightweight and absorbs quickly, leaving my skin soft and nourished without any greasy residue. I have acne-prone skin, and many oils tend to break me out, but this one hasn’t caused any irritation or congestion. It layers well under moisturizer and makeup, making it easy to use day and night. My skin feels more balanced, especially during colder months when I usually get dry patches. If you’re looking for a simple, non-comedogenic oil for hydration, this one is definitely worth trying.
good
squalane oil is non comedogenic and locks the moisture in skin, should be appied after moisturizer, moisturizer alone makes the skin dry. good pdt by minimalist.
My 52 year old skin looks radiant after using this!
I love this product! I am 52 and I use this on my face and neck straight after washing with my face still damp. It absorbs on my skin better! I don’t use moisturiser, only this and it takes a while to fully absorb but once it has, which takes around an hour, my skin looks radiant! It’s something I have used for years and I have hardly any wrinkles. It also helped with a dry itchy eczema type reaction I had above and below my eyes. It kept it from drying out and helped lessen the itching, which was quite violent at times! I was advised not to use emollient products like aqueous cream on dry itchy skin conditions. Again, I put it on when my skin was still damp. It’s a very light and gentle oil. Not heavy and gloopy. A little goes a long way. I also add it to hand cream and use it on the back of my hands as they get dry. It helps keeps moisture in. You can also put it on your feet (or hands), sleep in socks (or beauty gloves) and your feet (or hands) will be lovely and soft in the morning. It has no smell, which is perfect for me as i prefer no perfume in these types of products. I also like that it is pure and natural plant based. Anything containing perfume is toxic and an endocrine disruptor, something I learnt through personal experience & research, so I now try to use natural products. I hope this review is helpful to others.
Brilliant for old hags.
I’m an old hag. A pretty and vain one. This face oil is great and leaves my skin shining in a radiant kind of way. I also pour on illuminating things on top of it. Also feels good on other bits like arms and things. I’m 57. Not getting younger but still want to look like NOT 57.If you don’t like oiling your skin you won’t like this. I’m fair and don’t have very dry skin except I’m getting old and I like my skin feeling supple. So if you are too, buy it. Just buy it! But not if you’re like 27 or even 40. You don’t need it and leave the stock available for us old gals. Thanks.
Brilliant as a base
I use this to dilute bakuchiol. Wonderfully light and easy to apply, absorbs really well into my skin. Very good value for money.
