I didn’t realize how bad the reception and sound were until my old HDMI cable crapped out. I thought it was the sound bar or maybe my old Roku. Not the case! My TV is about 12 years old, the Roku and sound bar are almost 10. With this new HDMI cable, it seems like all is brand new! Great picture (no pixelation) and clear sound. Before purchasing I did a little Google investigating about HDMI cables and found its worthwhile to spend a bit more on quality and get 2.1.

I have an entry level AV Yamaha receiver RX-V385 and an entry level Samsung TV DU7200D 55 inch. I’m using eArc connection. I tried a couple of my HDMI cables that I had laying around and I noticed a little difference between those two but I thought I'd swing for the good cables this time. What a difference both in picture and sound. Picture much more crisp. The sound is loud at -20 previously I had to go up to -15 to -10 for normal TV and iPhone listening. Sound is full and vocals much louder and clearer. I've only have had it hooked up for a day but so far I'm extremely happy.

I recently bought a new tv and sound bar and was getting static noise whenever I’d watch a HD movie. I tried two different types of 4K HDMI cables. They didn’t make a difference. So I thought I’d spend the extra money and get these ones. The static noise is completely gone now. I was worried I maybe had a defective sound bar but it turned out it was the cheap HDMI cables.

It had some issues connecting to arc but other than that it works as describe on its packaging
Arc E Arc certified
Bought a new sound bar that requires Arc or e Arc certified hdmi cable. Plus your port has to be at least ARC APPROVED but e arc is even better. This is important if you want the very best performance from your expensive gear.
