OK, keep your expectations in check here. These are inexpensive nearfield monitors, and I wouldn't recommend them for a real project studio or above (as in if you're recording a band, doing mastering, etc.). But for my "Studio C" - used for product development, engineering, testing, and etc., they are just fine, perhaps for the simple reason that I didn't have space for larger monitors in this location. Nonetheless, sound quality is very good, as is imaging, and they actually had too much bass in the center EQ position (on the back) - having to reduce the bass on such tiny woofers was surprising. I also boosted the treble a little, which suits my ears. Anyway, nice monitors for the price. If you need larger nearfield monitors, I would consider the next models up in this line. For "real" monitors, though, you're looking at many times the price, and such may be required (I use JBLs, Yamahas, and Tannoys for this case - again a lot more bucks involved). But for the price of a decent PC-class speaker set, you could do much worse than the BX4s. I know, I've tried.BTW - nicely packaged! Double boxed, great packing, and the required cables are included.

This is my second time buying these studio quality speakers. I couldn’t be happier. First of all, I love the sound of these speakers when recording. Beyond that, I really appreciate receiving a brand new product to my door. Everything was pristine, packaged in original packaging, the box wasn’t beat up or retapped, etc. Thank you so much for making my day.

4.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Sound for the Money. NOT 4.5 Inches.
I just received these speakers yesterday so I am still playing around and getting used to them however I'm very happy with the sound. I have them set on my desktop to be used as reference speakers for video and sound editing. The sound is crisp and clear and full. They are very solid and seem to perform the function, for which they were intended, quite nicely. However there are 2 things which I have noticed which I will mention here. First, as you can see from the pictures, I ordered what was described as 4.5" reference monitors and the label on the back of the cabinet clearly states [4.5"]. It seems as though the folks at M-AUDiO may not be using the same type of ruler that I use. They are not actually 4.5" drivers, closer to 3.75". Second, and this is really my only actual functional complaint, as mentioned by others, the volume knob doesn't seem to take the speakers all the way down to a muted level without actually turning the power off. It's not a deal-breaker for me but something to note. Again, I'm still very happy with the sound and value.

Im sure there are better monitors out there for more $ BUT for $100 these monitors are outstanding! I bought them for my PC (I was using a really old JBL speaker for like 5 years lol) and man am I glad I did. For music, movies or YT, gaming etc the sound quality is soo good, I mean they are studio quality speakers and for $100 there is no reason not to have these if you need speakers. AWESOME!!!

I had purchased Creative Pebble speakers as a place holder when I did a PC build in 2020. They were adequate but I wanted a larger sound stage to be more immersive. After a few weeks of research, reading reviews, listening to some audio tests (with a grain of salt in my ears) I decided on these for a few reasons. Price to performance and clarity of sound. I did not what I consider muddy sound with base overwhelming all sound. These were a great purchase and have greatly improved the gaming experience, listening to music and consuming video content as well. In games the sound stage was such an improvement several in games such as CP 2077 and Tomb Raider series was like a new introduction to the audio aspects of the games. Highly recommended for such use. Very I happy I went with these over Audio Eng A2+.Pros: Good balance of base and treble which can be adjusted. Front facing headphone jack port, Option for RCA or TRS connection for L/R channels. True stereo sound immersion (turn Char head left, sound from right speaker only, turn head right, sound from left speaker in-game. )Dimensions can fit easily with limited space and a 3.5" Sub with 1" tweeter. Build quality at price point (MDF except for front as it feels for the front panel).Cons: Would prefer High / Low adjustment on front of speaker or the side.

These M-Audio BX3 BT's are high quality, powerful, and clear sounding speakers. They have all the connections you'll ever need, and having high & low shelving EQ's (@ 8k and 150 hz respectively) are a great inclusion at this price point.Tips: if you have something connected to the front Aux port, Bluetooth will not sound. This is understandable, and you simply need to disconnect the Aux plug for Bluetooth to work.Also remember that the more you Boost the Bass or Treble controls, (if you're Mixing on them) the more your mix will be Bass shy, and/or dull sounding on the High frequencies.All in all, these speakers are surprisingly loud and reproduce more bass than their small size would indicate.Highly Recommended, and Rock On, Brothers & Sisters!

Best budget studio monitor
I'm not going to lie, I bought these speakers after listening to a dozen YouTube videos whose titles began with "Best budget studio monitor". Well, I have to say that I don't regret my purchase at all!The sound is really good! Even when you turn up the sound a lot, it doesn't distort at all. The bass is very well pronounced and well balanced with the rest of the sound! Honestly not disappointed.(For those wondering, i use it with the Motu M2 audio interface)

Muy perronas las bocinas muy fácil de instalar se escuchan muy bien como me gusta el audio es claro y grave muy buenos bajos muy fácil de activar el Bluetooth muy buen rendimiento duran muy buen tiempo sobre el uso de las bocinas buen envío rápido.
