First off, for the price it's an absolute steal. I have a Sony Blu-Ray player and an OPPO DVD player both playing through a 60 inch plasma. This little player compares to either with excellent results. The picture quality on Blu-Ray is very good. It's easy to set up, and while I have a lot of experience, I would guess anyone who does not will also have no difficulty. Audio outputs, with coax digital, composite video and HDMI for under $100 is amazing. Negative reviews about off-region playability displayed confusion about DVD vs. Blu-Ray regions and restrictions. That said, I do not have any non-region DVDs to test.I have tested multiple CD's, including retail recent issues, 20 year old retail CDs and even burned copies. All played flawlessly and sound quality was comparable to both of my aforementioned players. Both of those players cost considerably more than this gem, and that was before several years of inflation.The ability to control volume through the remote is what attracted me to this unit initially. The sound system I use is not a commercial product and I do not use a home theater receiver. So the ability to remotely control volume to adjust for disc variability is crucial. The Geoyeao player has much finer adjustment resolution than the OPPO. That allows me to balance parts of the system more accurately.It's new (I got it only two days ago) so time will tell me more about dependability and reliability. It's worth mentioning here that with online registration the manufacturer offers an 18 month warranty. I have no experience with the manufacturer but if valid, that is incredible for almost any product these days, let alone one with all of these features and again, for $100.Give it a try, I did. So far it looks to be a great deal.

Picture quality is excellent. Sheerness is great and it’s easy to use. I spent a few hours looking for a blu ray / DVD player that would be able to read my collection of Japanese blu ray / dvd collection. I read reviews for so many products leaving me with mixed feelings about committing to a purchase. I then came across this one and right away I thought it definitely looked better then any other player I looked at so far. I then read the reviews and became impressed but I was a little hesitant because the price was so affordable. So I decided I am going to give it a chance and so far this has been a great product. It reads all my blu rays and dvds no problem. It loads fast. It’s a very simple and easy to use. It comes with a good amount of features. It’s also very compact and a lot smaller then I thought it would be which is good for space and the picture quality blew me away. If your looking for an affordable basic blu ray / region DVD player that won’t let down then this it it.

Easy to set up and use except for the fact that the remote that comes with it doesn't work well. You have to be very close (within 2 feet) for the remote to work. Otherwise works great especially for the price.

I find streaming services to lack quality/interesting subject matter/entertainment/historical accuracy/attachment to reality/morality/any value whatsoever and that some of what I want to watch is usually only reasonably offered for another region code. This opens up titles like Le Roi Danse from France and titles from Italy and across the globe.Likes: affordable access to modern quality media so I don't have to waste resources on streamed programming; easy to use controls; clean and crisp; and plays audio cd's!Cons: non really.Cautionary things that are not cons: no frame by frame step feature (comes in handy for movement studies) and the instruction manual translation in English may not seem natural for native speakers while the flow is distinctly East Asian; but then, this is trivial as the instructions are written well enough to explain full use in a minimal print and are too nicely written to be pedantic.Last thoughts: if you want to stop spending money on what feels like bizarre corporate sanitized programming to control you to think a certain way which you may find unnatural and contrary to observable factual phenomena, this is a great way to enjoy better media for less money.

I bought this Blue-Ray player to replace my old one. So far I think it's a great product. The picture is amazing and I had little trouble understanding the remote control, as others in the comments may have stated otherwise. The buttons for play and such are kind of small for my big fingers, but I manage.What is even better pertains to this seller: The day I received this product I saw that it was on sale for $21 less! I simply sent the seller a kind message that day and by the very next morning I had an email stating I would be refunded the price difference! I really appreciate this kind of customer service and would recommend this seller and their products to anyone. I did think this player would have Wi-fi, which nearly caused me to send it back...but because of how great it works, and the amazing service, I will just likely end up buying a new TV someday soon with that feature. The player works great and I am happy with my purchase and will not hesitate to buy from this seller as well.

This Player delivers on Functionality and Quality. Purchased to replace a High End Player that failed and it surpassed my expectations. It came well packaged and free of any external defects. The workmanship and design rivaled my expensive High End Player. The 36-page User Manual was clear and concise with extensive Q & A, Tips, and Troubleshooting advice. Out of the box Setup took less than a few minutes with the Default Settings making it basically a Plug & Play operation. On Screen Settings were intuitive and easy to navigate. My older library of self recorded and purchased DVDs played perfectly. I was impressed with how it easily handled and played my custom made mp3 music discs - the on screen display was awesome. All in all you can't beat the value and quality, including ease of operation.
やや動作不安定だが重宝
ポータブルプロジェクターと繋げて使用している。長時間使用後、停止指示してもディスクが停止しないことがあった。それでもコンパクトでPC立ち上げ不要で使え重宝している。
質問です。
録画したBlu-rayを再生したところ、映像は映るのですが音声が出ません💧何か対処方法はないでしょうか😥市販のBlu-rayは映像音声とも問題ないのですが…
焦りました。
到着して早速再生確認したところ、当方のPanasonic DIGAで書き込みしたディスクだけ音声が出ませんでした。（市販BDは問題なく映像、音声共に出ました）不具合かと思いとりあえず販売店へメールにて連絡したところ（つたない日本語でしたが）対応して頂き、添付されていたバージョン情報ファイルをUSBにて更新したところ音声も出るようになりました。(初めてのrarファイルだったので解凍に少し手間取りました）商品としてはコンパクトで持ち運びもしやすく、価格を考えたら映像、音声共に不満はありません。
製品保証がしっかりしている
購入後に動作不良がありレビューを上げた所、販売先からメール連絡があり新品を無料で再度送付して頂きました。今までの購入後の不具合は、こちら側から連絡しないと交換や対応してもらえないのが100%でした。前回レビューを販売元の方が見て連絡をしてきてくれて、コストコ以上の神対応でした。こちらでの購入は安心できてオススメです。前回レビュー↓再生してしばらくすると『蓋が開いてます』表示になり商状が繰り返し出る時がある。実際には閉まっているので、センサー側の誤作動と思われる。頻発するとイライラするので、時間ある時に分解点検してみる予定。

すぐ故障してアマゾンを経由して出品もとに連絡しましたが、2年間保証といううのに全く連絡ありません。最低のレベルです。この出品者を絶対信用しない方がいいです。
