I don't know what is in this stuff, but it works wonders! I've used on the seal of my front-load washing machine as well as in my shower, and this has worked extremely well to reduce the mold and grime. It easily goes on, and then you just need to let it sit then clean off easily. No strong smell. Easy to clean with no scrubbing.

Let me just start with - why didn't I take a picture of how it looked BEFORE!? This stuff is magical. I am sure just like most of the people here we've all tried multiple things to get rid of that horrible mold on the inside of the rubber of our washers. Time and time again I've tried to get rid of them but nothing worked. I can't remember exactly how I stumbled on this product but I cannot be happier I did. This staff is magic. In 3 hours 80% of the mold was gone and after 24 hrs 100% of it was gone. I just couldn't believe it. It was an easy application. Stuff just works. Its great. Get it. Recommend 100%

The gasket on my front load washer was so moldy and gross looking that I was about ready to replace it with a new one. I had tried cleaning it with both vinegar and regular bleach, but neither one of those touched it. My husband sent me a link for a similar mold remover gel from another online retailer that was about twice the price of this one. I was getting ready to order it when I decided to check Bolo first and found this gel at half the price.I really didn't have much hope that this gel would work but wanted to give it a try before replacing the gasket. The first time I applied it, I spread on a thick layer in the middle of the day and left it overnight with the washer door open just enough so that it wasn't in contact with the gasket. The next morning the gasket was just as moldy and disgusting looking as it had been the day before. I wiped off the gel residue and ran a cleaning cycle before doing my laundry for the day. After the laundry was done, I repeated the same gel application process, not wanting to waste the gel and still hoping for a miracle.The next morning I got my miracle...sort of. After the second application of the gel and sitting for another night with the door open, the gasket was about 80 percent free of mold. I was a little shocked but so happy with the improvement. I repeated the same process for a third night and the next morning all of the mold was gone. I really wish I had thought to take a before picture, but I didn't. The picture I have included is what my washer gasket looks like after three applications.While the outside of the gasket looks brand new, unfortunately the gel didn't yield the same stellar results on the mold inside the gasket fold. I have done additional applications of the gel in the fold but there has been very little improvement. For me, however, this gel is worth its weight in gold just for the incredible way it killed the mold on the outside of the gasket.Here is how I used the gel for the best results:*I applied the gel in a thick layer directly from the bottle all around the mold on the outer gasket.*I did not spread the gel after application, I just left it in a thick layer the way it came out of the bottle.*I did not scrub or scour the gasket.*I applied the gel early in the day and left it overnight, for a total of at least 18 hours each time.*I left the washer door open a little bit during the treatment period (enough that the door wasn't in contact with the gasket but still closed enough to keep the cat out, lol).*After each application I wiped out the remaining gel and ran a cleaning cycle prior to doing any laundry, just to make sure no gel would come in contact with clothing.After so many applications my bottle of gel is almost empty. I will definitely be ordering more and expect future bottles will last much longer since I will be able to stay on top of the mold problem. If I find a way to get the gel to work on the inside of the gasket fold I will come back here and let you know how I did it. In the meantime, I wish you much success with your own bottle of this miracle gel.

If you have that yucky black mold on your front-loader washing machine, this stuff works great for removing it. I was a little skeptical but decided to order a bottle and give it a try. I had tried bleach and many other things to get rid of that horrible looking black stuff but nothing really worked. This gel was amazing. The gasket looks like new. No more black. I let it sit overnight and the following morning I wiped it off and WOW! I ran the machine once empty before I put clothes in and a week later, still no signs of any mold forming.

Overall pleased with how well this gel cleaner cleaned my washer door gasket. I left it on 2 hours only as I didn’t want to leave it on overnight. There was still a larger spot of mildew under the gasket edge that didn’t get clean. Will reapply during the day so it can stay on longer. It’s a clear thick gel formula that stays in place. Minimal odor as it stays on the surface. I wore gloves to apply and wipe off. I also used it in my shower on grout and it cleaned well. Easy to apply. The directions are easy to follow. I want to see how long the mildew stays gone. Yes I do leave my washer door open after a load and I dry the door gasket with a towel when finished with washing. This is a Great product.

This has been the only product to get rid of the mold in the gasket of my front loader washing machine. You just need to give it time to do the job. Apply it before you go to bed and in the morning, boom, the mold is gone!

This product really works. Buy a pair of disposable kitchen gloves to prevent the product from getting on your skin, and wear eye protection. I was able to wipe most of the stain with paper towels, but there were some stubborn areas that required a brush. I am much happier with the appearance of my washing machine and I have plenty of product left over if I need to use it again.

This is my second purchase and I bought 2 more bottles because they were on sale. :)We bought first one bottle to try after reading good reviews. This stuff works like magic. Tried it around the edge on the kitchen sink which had a gross black line below the faucet. After a couple of overnight applications the edge became clean as new, see the photo.We used it around the house in few other places. Old stains needed few applications but you would see the difference right away after the first time.Finally started to work on our washing machine's rubber seal which was super gross will black stains set into the rubber. A couple of applications and the difference it very impressive. Probably would need another 2-3 overnight applications. And this was when we ran out so bought 2 more.The best thing is while it cleans out the gunk, it doesn't damage the sealer, metal, or rubber.The seller sent a note right after the purchase and asked to reach out if there are any issues. But we had no issues with the product or delivery.Highly recommend to buy!

Truly works against deep-set mould!
I have to say, I’m really impressed with the effectiveness of this simple product! I used it to treat some black mould stains that had set in within the rubber seal of my washing machine door gasket — a very typical issue for all of us. I had tried soaking with diluted bleach without virtually any effect beyond the most surface-bound stains. I tried this gel after seeing the positive reviews here on Bolo and YouTube, and it didn’t disappoint! Even one 5-hour treatment — which was easy to apply — removed virtually all of the black stains and left my gasket looking excellent. Over the stained area just apply a layer of the gel, easily dispensed from the bottle with the excellent (and reclosable!) included spout tip, and let it sit. Instructions suggest 3-5 hours, I did 5 hours… then wipe up the gel after and rinse clean (want to ensure no residual bleach before you start washing clothes again). Worked like a charm! Very stubborn cases might need more than one treatment but one was enough for my case, I’m glad to say, and I’ve got plenty of product left in the bottle to treat again down the road when mould inevitably returns over the years. Great product!
Worked perfectly
Over a couple of hours, this gel completely removed the black mold that was on our washer seal. I’d expected it may take a couple of applications, but it took only one and about four hours. We were very happy with the results. Will definitely use again!
