Good size for travelling. It is pretty small. Only have like 1 cup. It doesn’t stay hot. So you have to drink it right away. I thought I could heat up hot water and take it to my flight but it was cold when I boarded my plane.

I like everything about it except the outside is quite warm when the water boils. Won’t burn your hands but I’m on the hunt for a neoprene sleeve that will fit.

5.0 out of 5 stars The perfect travel hotel kettle does exist

    S.V. · January 15, 2023

I recently spent a week at a hotel for work. I hate to break the news to you but it's getting kind of well-known that there's some sickos out there that like leaving their specimen in the hotel room coffee makers. Don't look it up on YouTube or you might realize it's true. After calling a few hotels before my trip to inquire about coffee makers I realized they're well aware. Most hotels said they no longer provide a coffee maker but you could of course get coffee in the lobby or coffee bar. That's all fine and dandy unless that coffee sucks. So I'm on the mission too have my own hotel travel coffee/espresso setup.I have beans, a hand grinder, a scale, and a espresso maker. All I'm missing is a kettle and an electric gooseneck kettle with its handle sticking out on one side and it's spout sticking out on the other is very vulnerable and oversized. That's what I found these thermos type electric kettles. They all seem pretty similar with some trying to bank on being more Americanized and charging twice the price while this one has pretty horrible instructions, It's half the price and literally the same thing as the ones twice as much.Don't bother trying to translate the Chinglish. It's pretty self-explanatory.Fill water up to the 350ML (11.8oz). Leave the lid off. Plug it in and push the power button. It immediately starts heating at exactly 3 amps. That's about 350-360 watts on a typical U.S. 120 volt circuit. My gooseneck kettle for example draws 10 amps (more than 3X).I started off with water that measured 63°F. After 2 minutes it was 105°. After 4 minutes it was 150°. After 6 minutes it was 195°. That's a decent temperature right there for tea or hot chocolate but I want 205° for coffee. 30 seconds later at the 6 minute 30 second mark it hit 205° but 10 seconds after that the unit shut off because it determined it has reached boiling temp however it only got up to 208°F. That's more than sufficient for me though. At 7 minutes it was still at 208°. At 8 minutes in a drop down to 205° which is the ideal temperature I want to start making coffee. At 9 minutes it was down to 201°. 10 minutes 197°. 11 minutes 193°. All these temperatures keep in mind are with the lid off. At any time after it shuts itself off I could throw the lid on unplug it and walk away with some hot water that will stay that way for a while. The only thing I don't like about it is when it shuts itself off it only does so electronically. The button is still depressed. So if you unplug it and plug it back in again it will immediately start heating because the button is still pressed in. You need to push the button after it shuts off to physically release the power button from engaging even though it's already electronically shut down. That's something I wish they could have improved but for $22, I definitely can't complain. This will also make a perfect companion with my Ecoflow River for making coffee while tent camping.

1.0 out of 5 stars Dangerous, Leaky, Not as Advertised, Possibly Illegal. DO NOT BUY THIS DEVICE

    D.I. · January 15, 2022

Hello, I am a real person who actually bought this thing. I wanted to use it for car-camping in combination with a portable solar generator, and was attracted by the claim that it is a 300 watt electric kettle. It isn't, more on that in a bit.Upon opening the box, I immediately noticed that the exterior case of this thing is made of the cheapest plastic known to mankind. Do not be fooled by the fancy studio lighting that was used to create the product images here, this is not a premium product, it feels cheaper than most plastic toddler toys; rough mold markings are apparent, and the plastic near the lid scratched the first time I screwed the lid off. There are no FCC markings. There are no UL markings. There are no product identification markings of any kind on the device. There is only a small stamped line labeled "350mL" on the metal internal liner, and a shoddily positioned warning sticker on the lid that reads "Warning: when boiling water, please open the lid!" Atrocious. The manual is concerning. There's a lot of what you'd expect; very very poorly translated instructions, almost unintelligible in places. ("The product couldn't be used by the persons (including children) who are imperfect in limbs, have feeling or spirit barrier or lack the relevant experience and knowledge...") The "After Sales Service" section is blank, there is no way to contact the manufacturer for support. The voltage specification is mislabeled as 220V in one place. One item was extremely concerning: The front page of the user manual states, at the bottom "This product is only sold and used in Chinese Mainland." I do not live in China, I purchased this in the United States. Why is this being sold here? I don't even believe it has the legally required FCC approval for electronic devices. Is this thing legal to operate in the US?Moving on...The lid is not watertight. This does not appear to be a defect with my individual unit. The screw-on lid uses two plastic threads which appear extremely fragile. These threads do not overlap. This is unlike any container I have ever seen which claims to be watertight. I have attached a picture comparing these threads with a random double-wall plastic container I found in my cabinets. Additionally, the gasket that is supposed to create the seal is a tiny, extremely thin piece of what appears to be silicone. It is too small to create a good seal, the first time I upended it, water leaked out of the sides even though I tried to crank it down pretty hard. Horrible. It is not waterproof. It is immediately clear that there is a hole in the bottom of the casing through which water could enter. Electrical wires are visible through this hole. The electrical connector has no type of gasket which would prevent water from entering the casing. The power button does not appear to have any kind of gasket either, and the gap between the two plastic pieces forming the case for the bottom of the unit is large enough that liquids could enter, particularly around the status light. Washing this device under running water would be nearly impossible without risking getting water into the internal electronics. It is not 300W. I tested this with a power meter. This thing pulls over 350 watts, not 300. This will be a problem for anyone who intends to use this with a 300 watt inverter, which was my use-case.Positives: It did turn on. Water got hot. I was too afraid to use this product any longer since it is a safety hazard and possibly not legal to use in my country. This device should not be sold in the United States; or anywhere where product safety is important. I will be returning mine for a refund immediately.

I needed a water heater so I could make hot coffee and tea when I went to Vegas. I tested it out before my trip and it worked wonderfully. Went to Vegas and it performed as needed. Water heats up with 3 minutes. It will automatically turn off. I found this out when I forgot to watch it.You need to remove the top of device to heat up the water.Clean the inside by adding a small cap of vinegar with water. Let sit for 5 minutes or so, rinse out and dry.I will be taking this water heater with me on my future road trips.

    Calienta rápido el agua

Me gustó porque calienta rápido el agua, el cable es un poco corto, pero no es gran cosa, tiene tapa y en dos minutos está el agua hirviendo.
