5.0 out of 5 stars Easy, Portable, and Great Sound!!! You Will USE it!

    T.M. · November 20, 2020

I have been looking for an affordable mic to use for videos. My son and I do YouTube videos and have run in to sound issues with just using the on -board camera mic. I liked the look & size of this mic, so I decided to give it a try. GREAT CHOICE! I really like the small design and the power for the size is fantastic! I used the headset, the lav mic, & the little hand mic, all to see which I'd like best to use for videos. I liked them all, but really liked the small "Interview-style" mic. If I have a smartphone with a headphone/mic jack or the adapter for the newer phones without the jacks, this mic is perfect for doing interviews. I walked all around my house and the recording in my office where the receiver was, never waned. I'm very excited to start using it for vlogging and YouTube videos. (Youtube.com/AdventureCole)I am looking forward to getting a shotgun mic connected to the transmitter as well, to utilize it for as much as possible. Very happy with this item and definitely recommend!

4.0 out of 5 stars Good value.

It was a bit of a struggle to figure out how to make it work. Once done, it has great sound quality and easy hookup.

5.0 out of 5 stars Works great, but get new mic!

Works great and especially for the price. I would suggest a different mic. After I switched mics it works really well! Very nice system for using for YouTube videos. It is nice keeping the audio synced with your camera.I used this with my DSLR T5i!

1.0 out of 5 stars Very Disappointed

First of all, this is my first time using a wireless microphone. I plant to use it for certain “youtube” type videosI wanted this type for the distance it offers, supposedly up to 160 feet. I was talked out of a bluetooth version because of the longer distance with this type.It comes with three microphones which would more than cover all my needs. However, I cannot get more than 10 feet of “line of sight” use without it breaking up and hissing. I have reviewed a few youtube videos and cannot find any reason for this issue.I am not giving up completely and plan to try again with an ipad pro (I have been using a Google pixel 3A)I will also circle back with an audio expert but my gut feeling is that the transmitter / transceiver is defective! Too Bad, because this is a nice inexpensive good looking microphone kit!

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing little mic system.

Love this mic! Easy to use, paired right away and had great sound quality. Will equip our organization with a few of these for our remote work.

5.0 out of 5 stars Works great for what I need

    C.M. · January 26, 2021

I am learning to creating music tracks and have a synth keyboard that has a vocoder ability; however, the synth did not come with the original mic. I considered standing mics (like computer mics) but like the original mic, I would be leaning over the synthesizer trying to speak into the mic while trying to play keys on the keyboard where my voice would be synthesized. So...I also have a wirelss transmitter/receiver set that is made for plugging into the instrument and amp without a cable so they can "talk" to each other and the instrument's sound comes through the amp without being attached. I mention this because those units work GREAT and I thought this system might work with my synth and the vocoder ability. I did have to use an adapter plug on the receiver piece, but once I had them both on and tuned the synth to vocoder, I sat upright, pressed on a key, spoke into the mic and there it was! My voice synthesized through the keys! So for me, this is working as I wanted it to. I can't address the more traditional uses for this, but if it worked for my purpose, I am sure it will serve for what it was made to do. Works great for me, though.

5.0 out of 5 stars it's okay, does what it says.

    R.B. · December 28, 2020

I can't say the microphone is the best out there, but it does okay and it is not the worst microphone I have used before. I haven't tested the full distance on the transmitter but I am able to go to the next room and keep recording which means that it has a good distance. I do with that it had a little better gain on the sound though.

It work very well. Good sound, no drop outs (we used it at about 20 feet), very easy to use.

Great for use in a home music studio

The WinBridge Multi-function Wireless Lavalier Microphone set is fantastic. They connected instantly the first time I used them and every time since. The sound quality is amazing using any of the three different mics types that come with the set. The transmitter and receiver are small but sturdy and the receiver easily attaches to all of my cameras and devices. The set also comes with great connectors and splitters. An easy five stars.

Simple to set up, range is generally good though there is a background noise to it

    C.C. · December 25, 2020

This is a nice and simple lav mic system to set up in seconds and I found that we were able to move around freely without experiencing any cuts. The only problem is that we experienced a consistent background noise with this system that does not sound very professional and really cuts into the clarity of the audio - it's not loud enough to make the recording unusable or even hard to hear by any means but it just makes the recording not clean. This is particularly evident if you switch between different inputs where you'll hear it side by side.

An excellent budget/entry-level wireless microphone set

The Good Parts- Vocal recordings sound good- The transmitter and receiver have 4 step battery life LED indicators which also show charging progress- Fairly straightforward to use. Under normal circumstances, it’s basically plug and play.- An LED lights up on both the receiver and transmitter when they are connected- Comes with three mics - head mounted, lav and short lav- None of the mics are hardwired to the transmitter, so you can use your own mics if they have a 3.5mm mono plug- Comes with a 1/4” mono plug adapter and a Y adapter for use with computers, PCs, etc.- The headset is pretty comfortable.- Includes a charging cable that can charge both receiver and transmitter at the same time- The lavalier mic cord is nice and long, which makes it easy to hide the transmitter.- The clip on the transmitter is pretty good. Will stay in place under normal circumstances.- Volume control on both the receiver and transmitter- Both the receiver and transmitter work while charging, which is useful in the field- Easy to pair if the receiver and transmitter get un-paired- Build quality is better than I expect for the price- Overall, you get a lot for what you pay for. I would normally expect only a lav or only a headset in the bundle for the price.Hit or Miss- Range is OK, but sound quality can potentially decline with longer distances and or obstructions. I found that there was static when there were obstructions blocking direct line of sight (no matter the distance) between the receiver and transmitter.- The connection LED is a little to recessed on both the receiver and transmitter, making it a little hard to see if it is lit from certain angles- USB Micro, not USB-C for charging

Unshielded / faulty mics, no case, and appreciate noise in transmitted sound.

I'm so thrilled about this wireless transmitter. I was very excited to test it and compare it to my higher end microphone. I have a phantom power supply that I have a full sized microphone plugged into. My power supply has 2 audio inputs so I was able to plug in the receiver of this transmitter to the second input. Then I plugged in earbuds to the headphone monitoring port of the power supply to compare the sound quality between the two different setups. I was able to mute one and isolate the other to be able to compare the two. I also played some music in the background to simulate background noise. The results: in short, audio through the transmitter is clear with high enough gain but background noise is audible. This was not the case with my full sized mic (not an expensive one either, maybe ~$50 on Bolo). I wanted to pin-point whether the noise I was hearing was coming from the transmitter electronics or from the included mics. I tried the included mics one by one. I discovered a few things:- The microphone cables are not shielded. I was able to hear electronic interference from my nearby electronics when using the headphone microphone and the shirt clipping lapel microphone.- The shirt clip lapel microphone has a faulty connection that cuts out depending on the position of the wire. I would hate to record some sort of interview with this to find out after that the audio is unusable. The transmitting system seems to be of alright quality. It will introduce some noise to the system but with a quality microphone, the noise levels should be acceptable. The included microphones are a let down if you're trying to create any sort of quality product. The only one of the microphones that I trust is the short "interview" type mic. I can see using that to interview people. Again though, it's not ideal, the gain is low and has to be cranked up to get loud enough sound from the person's voice, and by then the audio noise will be audible. If that's the only application you'll be needing this for, they have purpose specific wireless interview mics or better yet, ones that internally record so that you don't get the noise introduced from wireless transmission. The transmitter and the receiver are rechargeable which is nice. However the charging port is the outdated micro-usb. I would have liked to see USB C so I don't have to carry around a cable just to keep these charged. Having said that, it does come with a "2 headed snake" type of charging cable to be able to charge both the transmitter and the receiver while only using one USB charging port on your charging block. The package is nice and comes with a foam cutout, however a case is not included to carry around all the pieces. I suppose you could use the cardboard box it comes in but I would have liked some sort of hard-shell case to be included, even if it raises the price by a few dollars. All the little pieces will get misplaced quickly without a case.Overall, like the functionality this device brings by allowing you to wireless transmit audio to your recording device but I think that the included mics aren't of high quality. I would have preferred to see one good quality mic instead of 3 poor quality ones. The unshielded cables are what make the mics unusable for me. I can literally hear the electric noise from my computer that changes in intensity when I move the position of the microphone cable in space. I can't recommend this product in its current configuration.

Great entry level device with a few setbacks

    M.Z. · December 18, 2020

I'd like to highlight that for the range, this is really a great little kit. But there are a few things to highlight:The Positives:- Great starter kit for people who want to do audio recordings at wireless range, includes all you would need to get started: headset, lavaliers, all proper wiring- Rechargeable transmitter and receiver- Works extremely well in a controlled environment- Plug n play out of the boxThe Negatives:- Range can vary greatly based on the environment, surrounding interference such as wireless phones, microwaves, electronic devices. I didn't put this through a scientific study obviously but with limited testing between inside my house and outside in the backyard there was significant variation in the range and ensuing audio recording quality.- In perfect conditions, audio quality is more than acceptable, but in uncontrolled environments there are risks of white noise and hissing, but the closer the range the lesser the issues were.- The environment also has significant impact onOverall, I recommend this device but make sure to effectively do proper audio tests in the environment you'll be using the device in so that there are no bad surprises. Just as any audio expert would do :)
