I have had many Bissell products over the years. I bought the heavy duty steamer last year that really saves me tons of money for a pro to come in but I needed something for my small areas and my staircase. All I can say is WOW!!!! What a great stick vacuum! It picks up everything, it's so lightweight and easy to use, I'm in amazement. There's little noise, my hounds aren't scared of it and the power is crazy great. Attachments are so easy to use and it's so easy to clean. You can easily put fit in a small closet. Charger is convenient and fast. I love my Bissell products and the best part is they save pets. That's how I got my Redbone Coonhound is from the Bissell Adoption Foundation. The Bissell family is amazing!!!! Thanks Bissell for my spotless home!

Very light easy to use. Easy to unhook to empty. Powerfully enough to clean my rug and floor where we track all the time. When detached the utensils attach easily and work well in my car to clean floor and seats without dragging out large shopvac. Holds charge well and easy to plug in to charge. I do empty after every use but holds enough dirt and dust that only have to empty when job is finished.

Bought this to pick up tracked cat litter. It has become my new best household tool! I now use it all over the house instead of my big plug-in vacuum. And the suction is excellent picking up dried grass, cat litter, and dead bugs. (We live on a lake) I am considering buying a second one for upstairs. One of my favorite things about this vacuum is it actually goes over all of my rugs and bathroom mats without them getting tangled underneath. Granted, my mats are very low pile gorilla brand mats, but I no longer have to pick them all up and shake them and put them all back down which is a plus for me. The only negative is the charge does not last long as noted by other reviewer‘s. You have to definitely get your business done fast and then plug it back in. The first time I let the charge go dead it took 24 hours for the thing to recharge completely. Now I keep it plugged in continually and that seems to be working. Excellent purchase!
4.0 out of 5 stars Great stick vac - a ton of bang for your buck
I'll start with why I think this is a great vac, but pls read to the bottom for an explanation for why I couldn't give it 5 starts. I bought this because my employer had one; I used it and loved it. It is lightweight, versatile, has great maneuverability, long lasting battery power, great suction power. It offers many features and functions that I would only expect from a higher priced stick vac. You get two tools for the price of one, with the detachable hand vac (plus you get accessories: crevice tool and etc). This vac gets under the lowest furniture and swivels around in the trickiest spaces allowing you to reach more areas without having to detach the handvac to get into hard to reach spaces. The handle even folds forward so you can really get under low furniture without the vacuum losing contact with the floor (and thus suction). The charge lasts 90+ minutes and doesn't require constant charging. I used this vac for 45 minutes and forgot to plug it in to charge. 5 days later, I used it again for over 45 minutes. The suction power did not deplete when battery power ran low. All the features of this vac are intuitively handy. With just one push of a button that is at your fingertips, you can switch between using the hard floor and using the brush roll feature. You don't have to stop vacuuming to switch surfaces. The hand vac can be easily detached and reattached from the base with a push of a button. This mid range stick vac is really impressive. So WHY DIDN'T I GIVE IT A FIVE STAR RATING??? #1 When my stick vac arrived, the filter was missing. Bolo did refund my purchase price and did not require that I return the product, so kudos to them. I thought that was strange and now I know why. #2 YOU CAN NOT BUY A GENUINE BISSELL REPLACEMENT FILTER PART. I looked on the Bissell website for a replacement filter for this 3106 model. They don't sell a filter replacement. They don't offer an alternative replacement filter, from among the many other replacement filters they sell, that would work for the model 3106. (I thought maybe they had a newer version of this stick vac and I could buy the filter for the newer model, but no!) The only way to get a genuine replacement filter for this specific model, is that you have to buy the entire hand held vacuum for $35, which only comes with the one (1) filter - what happens when I eventually want to replace the filter, which anyone would need to do to keep the vac running in good order? My only other option was to buy an "off brand" replacement filter and hope that it fits. The problem with buying something other than genuine replacement parts is that they are never as good as the genuine parts because they aren't made specifically for your product and sometimes products don't fit nor do they work as well (or you damage your vac by using an off brand) when you don't use genuine parts. It's also difficult to determine if you are buying the correct product because while "they" say that the filter is compatible with the model 3106 in the heading, if you read further on in the description of "compatible models" you won't find the 3106 listed among the model numbers- "bait and switch". I know this sounds picky, but I have a brand new stick vac that I bought with the expectation that it would work as well as the one my employer has. At this point, I'm crossing my fingers and will purchase an "off brand" filter. Let's hope I'm not disappointed. CONCLUSION: LOVE THE VAC, but BE AWARE OF THE ISSUE WITH REPLACING THE FILTER WITH A GENUINE BISSELL FILTER.

My last stick vac by Bissell was corded and it really did the job. I had purchased another stick vac that was cordless when that one finally died that did an o.k. job but not as good as the corded Bissell. When the latch for the plastic dust cup broke on that one -- not a brand anyone in the US would recognize -- the thing became worthless. I thought I wouldn't get another cordless as I was much opposed to having to spend like $400 or more for one that sucked better (as in Dyson), even if I read the Dyson cordless floor vac wasn't all it was cracked up to be either. When I read the reviews about this Bissell and saw the price, I decided to try it out. Glad I did too. Works great and even sucks up kitty litter without spitting it out! In 10 minutes, my tiny apartment floors are nicely done and it works well on the area rug too. I almost don't need to drag the master vacuum out of the closet. In fact, I haven't since I've had this vac.It's a tad noisy but I don't care since it does such a good job. It's perfect for a small apartment like mine. The charge lasts around 20 minutes but so far I've been able to do my whole place in 10 because it's so efficient.

Not as good as Bissell Pet Pro
I am disappointed in this vacuum. Not as much suction as the pet pro the filter is a sub standards paper bag filter (not the proper corrugated washable) and it does not hold the battery charge as long.It's a fail as far as a comparison.It is OK only whereas o Loved my older pet pro. They of course don't make that particular model anymore!!!!
