I had my eye on this for a long time and finally gave in. The first night, I used it to steam new curtains and it worked magnificently! It heats up pretty quick and removes wrinkles easily. I like that the water compartment holds a lot of water. It did not leak at all and keep in mind, I've used it mostly for large curtains, so I'm sometimes at a weird angle with this. I found it was easy to use and I got the hang of this pretty quick. Also, this thing looks and feels luxurious! I had a plastic purple steamer in college, and I feel so mature with this one now. The box it came in is also a esthetically pleasing and I keep my steamer stored in.

I’ve had this steamer for several months now, and use it almost daily! I find it’s much easier to use than my iron most times. It heats up pretty quickly, and I like that it has a slide button to maintain steaming. I usually steam pants and blouses. I would say the only minor issues are it’s a bit heavy, and I do find I have to fill the water up quite often. Other than that, I would recommend it!

I love steaming my clothes and when my old, ancient, cheap steamer had to be laid to rest I was heartbroken!!! Consider my heart healed because of THIS steamer!! I was on the fence about splurging for a mid price point steamer but I am so glad I upgraded! It heats up in no time but doesn't release any steam until you hit the button soooooo if you forget you turned it on went on doing something else you wont waste a tank full of water!

The Electrolux portable steamer came beautifully packaged like a gift. Compared to the last steamer I tried, it’s definitely is a gift. The steamer is very sleek, the water container is easy to remove and replace, and the water level is easily visible; it holds 300 ml of water. NOTE: directions recommend using distilled water. The steamer has two settings plus two attachments, a brush and a lint remover. I find using the brush most beneficial especially if a garment has some deeper wrinkles; these tend to be a bit more difficult to remove. But so far, everything has come through satisfactorily. I have not used the steamer on any delicate fabrics, mostly cotton/cotton blends. The Electrolux weighs about 2# according to the info provided, lighter than others I considered. It’s easy to hold and maneuver.

I used my new steamer to steam some curtains and it worked great. Done in a few minutes. I just wanted to mention one thing: you press the power button once to heat it up and then after the little light stops flashing/shows steady, you press the power button AGAIN to get steam. I thought mine wasn't working because after it heated up there was no steam. Press the power button AGAIN.

If you’re looking for a great steamer this is it! I’ve had a cheaper steamer but it never worker good. Finally I thought I’d take a chance and purchase this steamer. I am so thankful, it works like a charm. I use it on everything.

I took a chance on this product when searching for a travel steamer. I first put it by o the test when I had to officiate a destination wedding. My gents suit looked great. This product deserves all the stars available.

Love the steamer and it works great at home. Bought an adapter for use in Europe. I didn't think I need a converter because I couldn't find any information about it. I assumed if a converter was needed, there would be something somewhere that stated the steamer wasn't dual voltage. Couldn't find it. Tried the steamer in my hotel room in Italy and blew a fuse within a minute. Not sure if the steamer is damaged. Just be aware that it you buy this, do not use without a converter.

This steamer gets wrinkles out fast.It takes about 20 seconds for the steamer to heat up. Removing the water tank is as easy as pressing a button. The steamer is very light weight as well so it's very portable.

Hemos tenido varios modelos de planchas de vapor y esta es la que nos parece la mejor. Hay que rellenar el depósito de agua cada dos o tres prendas pero fuera de eso es excelente. Recomendada.
Terrible experience
Firstly the plug needs an adaptor which you need to buy separately . Took it out of the box and it won’t even turn on. I even tried to contact their head offices . Very unhelpful . Waste of time. Do your self the due diligence and go with a company that has the correct plug and are reliable.
Incredible product!
I purchased this product largely on the basis of Electrolux's reputation. My parents had an Electrolux vacuum cleaner years ago, and the thing lasted for 30 years.This steamer is amazing. The steamer is well made, easy to hold, emits a lot of steam in a very short period of time, and has a very long 15 foot cord. The operating manual is concise and complete, and the product does a superb job in eliminating wrinkles and freshening clothes. My only concern is that the lid to the water bottle at the bottom of the steamer is made of plastic, and doesn't appear particularly durable.Otherwise, it is a great product and a good value.
