5.0 out of 5 stars After buying many manual pumps this is it
Many years I spend buying a manual pump to get the water out of my pool coverI am so so happy I did. This works perfectly. Not fast but it does the job
5.0 out of 5 stars Great product!
It works great just the help we needed to remove all the excess water on the pool cover. I recommend this!
4.0 out of 5 stars Works well if you're not on a hurry
I bought this pump to remove water off the solar cover. It works pretty well it's not the fastest but it pumps a steady stream through the supplied hose. The only issue I have is that the pump needs to be completely submerged to prime and start pumping. I made a Loop out of a coat hanger and put it through the holes that are molded on the pump housing. That way I can use my pool pole and put the pump where I need it.I have a 24 foot round pool, the cord is plenty long to plug into the outlet I have under my deck. The only other modification I made was I got a brass quick connect for the water hose so I can disconnect it and drain it completely when I'm done with the pump. I have a 24 foot round pool, the cord is plenty long to plug into the outlet I have under my deck and the hose reaches over the side with no problem. The only other modification I made was I got a brass quick connect for the water hose so I can disconnect it and drain it completely when I'm done with the pump. I have probably used eight or 10 times and it still pumps just as well as it did the first time I used it.
5.0 out of 5 stars Does the job
Perfect for a leaking pool cover, draws water fast and has a sufficient amount of hose included to get rid of the water. Quiet, and cheap! I don't know how long it will last, but it seems pretty sturdy.
5.0 out of 5 stars super little pump!
This little pump is a great little worker! We bought it exclusively to drain water from our 15 x 40 ft in ground pool cover. Boy it really does the job! We have the output hose coming off from one side and the electrical cord from the opposite side. This actually helps to center the pump. Last year, September 24, to be exact, we started using the pump. We left it in place until we removed the pool cover May 31st. We live in southwestern Pa. so our pool use time is limited. Last Christmas, to those of you affected, if you remember we had a sudden cold burs. On Dec. 23 lots of cold rain and by the 24th, it had dropped to 1 degree. It did not break freezing for six days. The point of that particular information is that we left that little pump on the pool cover rather accidentally because it was Christmas, busy time, and did not think of what was about to happen to it. Well, it was completely frozen and encased in ice. I mean like at least two inches over the top of it and all around. The next week, when we were able to removed it-still ice bound, we used water to melt the ice and much to our surprise and delight it still worked perfectly! Who would have 'thunk'!To those of you encountering problems, maybe the pump got clogged. We experienced that here and there. We simply removed the pump and gave it a good and invigorating rinsing with a hose. Lots of small debris came out. Reposition, plug in and Ta da! It still works! I think it had a little quirk sometimes. Like I had to unplug the cord and wait a few seconds (one Mississippi, two Mississippi's) plug it back in and the pump decided it wanted to work after all. Sometimes, it even wanted a little jiggle for encouragement. So, if you have read this far, by all means, please go ahead and buy it! We think it was a great bang for your buck!
3.0 out of 5 stars Blocks leaves from getting clogged
Does not have a float on it so you need to be around to shut off if all the water is off the pool cover
5.0 out of 5 stars Great pump!!!
Was just what we needed. Had a horrible raining spell where it rained for about 2 weeks. Our pool was closed by the previous owners 2 years ago and we fears the broken bottles wouldn't hold up all of the water. The water was about an inch from the very top of the pool. Pushed this into the middle, put the little tube under our deck and just plugged it in. The only issue is just how hard it is to attach the tube to the actual pump. I had to cut small slits on the side in order for it to squeeze over.
1.0 out of 5 stars Only worked 3 times
Only had it 10 days and used 3 times, then it quit and never worked anymore. Very dissatisfied with how little time it worked.
Voltage not compatible for UK
Pointless waste of time shame on Bolo for allowing this item to be available on the UK site as the voltage is American. Considering it’s for use with water is even more shocking
