I had a little instant to my coffee to fortify it make it stronger on some days. This one has a good flavor and it’s a good value.

I always keep a jar of instant coffee around, in case I run out of beans or ground fresh coffee. I drink coffee every day, and the instant is an emergency supply if I run out of the good stuff. This Bolo coffee tastes OK and is a good value for the price. I usually add a little milk and sugar, so that helps too. It tastes like coffee and delivers caffeine...and that's mostly what I need. :-)

I have tried to like instant coffee multiple times now. It's easy to mix, pack-away, and make. The price is right and the can lasts a while. Problem is, the flavor. It comes out very acidic and harshly strong on the coffee flavor. I usually cut the mix with extra water or milk and then it's doable. It'll get the job done if you're away from a fresh pot, but that's about the jist of it.

I don't mind instant coffees - they have a nostalgia to them from camping as a kid. I was used to Nescafe but thought I'd try these out. Lo and behold - the taste is great! Better than Nescafe, instant and even dissolving. I'll always keep these on hand for a pinch cup or camping!

I do not consider myself to be a snob, but I've been drinking instant coffee for over 4 decades, and I've had a wide variety of brands and roast over the years. I have a few go-to brands I normally buy, but decided to take a gamble on this generic Happy Belly brand. Long-short, gamble failed.Initial impression of the coffee upon unsealing it was positive, I thought it had a nice armoa. The ground color looked nice and brown, and was easy to spoon out. I prepared a cut using the same method I've done for years: 3/4 cup of boiling water, 2 teaspoons of coffee, 1 packet of sugar/splenda, 1/4 cup milk.As I prepped, I took sips of the coffee, first black, then with sugar and finally with milk. With each sio, I was less and less convinced that this was a good purchase. While the coffee does have a nice aroma, it actually managed a feat I seen only a handful of brands was able to accomplish, coffee was bland and bitter at the same time. Not horrible tasting, but not good either. It reminded me of the cheap generic coffee some hotels stock. Even has the same quality of making the coffee have a grayish tint when cream/milk is added. I'm also left with a weird metallic aftertaste.I'll try one more cup, maybe with breakfast, but I suspect my results will be the same.I cannot recommend this product.

Happy with the instant coffee . Taste is good. Price is good. Light reusable plastic container unlike heavy glass containers. Will buy again. Arrived within a day.

The Happy Belly Classic Roast Instant Coffee is my favourite brand. It delivers a rich flavor without needing much added, and it's gentle on my stomach, unlike some other brands. The only minor issue is that sometimes it has a powdery texture, which can make precise measurement tricky, but it's not a major concern. The main drawback is that it's often out of stock. Despite this, it remains an essential item in my kitchen... whenever it's in stock.

I was hoping to find a palatable, cheaper alternative to my current brand of instant coffee. Unfortunately, this is not it. This smells horrible right off the bat when opened, and the flavor is just as bad. I tried it two days in a row to give it a fair shot, and the second cup was not an improvement. I can't even really describe the bad smell-- it doesn't really smell like anything I've experienced before. Maybe a chemical kind of smell is the best I can come up with, and it tastes how it smells. Really rough, not the smooth, nice flavor I was hoping for at all. Maybe I got a batch that wasn't fresh. It was sealed when it came, though. I will say it was easy to use, dissolved well in the water, but that's certainly not enough to keep me drinking it. Unfortunately, my return window already closed, so I'm just throwing it away, it was that awful. Normally I would just drink it anyway to avoid the waste, but this is so bad I just can't. It also seems to have a really high acid content. I have GERD, and this gave me heartburn that even broke through my Prilosec.
