5.0 out of 5 stars Exactly what we wanted/needed
We got a set of 16 at first and loved them so once my baby started crawling we bought the bigger pack to add to it! They hold their shape well as we’ve had the first 16 for about 6 months already and have no issues. They’re generally easy to clean though I do take them apart completely occasionally and wipe them down top to bottom, since they are on the floor and reasonably that takes some time. They’re lightweight enough to move around easily, way lighter than a rug, but they somehow stay in place pretty well like a rug would so you don’t have to worry about them sliding. I like that the colors aren’t a color overload because it fits well in our living room without making it look like a daycare & also allows the toys themselves to stand out instead of the playmat. Over all very easy to put together and not a bad price by any means. We will be buying more to expand the safe space where he can learn to walk without fear of him hitting his head on the hard floors.
5.0 out of 5 stars Supportive and durable!
We needed some mats to put under my daughters indoor jungle gym that were sturdy enough to not fall apart when she runs and plays in the room but soft enough to protect her is she falls. These fit the brief and the fun colors look great in her play room. Great price for these type of mats as well, especially since they are made of non-toxic materials
4.0 out of 5 stars Does what I wanted it for
We have tile floors in the house we just moved into so I bought this to provide a soft floor to play with my toddler on. We also have a dog, and anything (furniture, heels, etc) that has little feet will dig into this, but for the abuse it has seen in the last month, it still looks reasonably nice. The imprints of most things go away fairly easily - its mostly when the dog starts pawing at it when trying to play or when she is bored that it starts to get beat up. Dog hair also collects on it a little bit - we've only tried sweeping it. I imagine using a swiffer would work well. Spilled some water and it got underneath, but we only had to peel up the few it got under, not the whole rug.We got the beige, white, and grey, and it turned out very nicely. It provides a bit of contrast, and it is fun and classy at the same time. Also, it is really nice on the knees - when you are playing on this I last a lot longer than playing on the hard tile. I'm also not worried about my child falling or throwing a tantrum when in this area.It may need to be replaced in a year, but I think it will be worth the purchase.Oh - if a piece or two get beat up you can replace them if the configuration you use leaves you extras. I think we have a couple of each color, and it is nice to know if 1 section gets ruined it is an easy fix and I don't have to replace the entire rug :)... Update after 2 months: Still very happy with product, however it is in a very high traffic area and the whites(cream?) are starting to look dingy. Would have chosen something without white if I did it again.... Update after 1+ year: Still happy! We pulled the whole thing up and washed all the tiles. we have noticed in the last few months that the tiles on the edges don't fit as tightly - I attributed that to not being in a square, so the tiles don't hold together quite as tightly, and this is in a VERY high traffic area. We put the tiles back down, with the tiles that had the most use swapped for the left over pieces from when we put it together originally or tile that hadn't gotten as much use. since the tile don't have the same amount of wear and stretched differently they didn't go together as well as they did the first time. however, this still meets our needs. If I did again, I think I might look for bigger tiles.
5.0 out of 5 stars Actually pretty good
I was nervous to buy these because I have 2 dogs and a cat. But these have held up surprisingly well!! The edge pieces are my babies favorite toy though and they love to pull them up 😂😂Easy to clean , easy to fit together, decent thickness and padding, love that you can make different configurations for the space needed. Good value in my experience. Ended up buying 3 sets because I was impressed. My dogs nails haven’t made punctures in it yet compared to the may that came with our playpen.
5.0 out of 5 stars Pretty nice, comes out smaller than you might expect
Update: The seller contacted me and gave me a full refund so I could have another free set. Updating review to 5 stars as they stand by their product and care so much about customer service.Original review: I like this overall. The colors are nice for my boys. This setup is in our main living area so I didn’t want anything too garish. The boys visibly love it and are always wanting to play on it. I didn’t have anything like this before so I don’t know how it compares to other brands, but all I needed was something thick enough to put on a hardwood floor in case of a fall and to keep them from scratching the floors up with their toys, and this does the job. The sizing on thickness is accurate.I saw that it said 36 12-inch squares, so I assumed, reasonably I think, that this would be 36 square feet, close to the perfect size for our wooden playpen. However, I think the squares are only 12 inches if you include the perforations, so when you have put them together it absolutely is not 36 square feet, in fact I could fit a whole other row of squares easily along one side and still be within my playpen. This was disappointing as I wanted it to cover the whole floor, but I’m not going to spend another $55 for the extra row. Taking off two stars for what I consider misleading advertising that may have resulted in my buying another product if I’d known, but we’re busy and we’ll keep it rather than going through the hassle of returning and finding another one.
3.0 out of 5 stars Not great, not terrible- will do the trick.
In concept, these are great. We are using them for a play mat for our infant.Pros: I love the fact that they’re customizable with layout and have the edging pieces. Love that they are easy to clean. Love the color options.Dislikes: They feel kinda cheap in quality - wish they were slightly heavier. My biggest issue is that some of the pieces don’t fit tightly together even though they came as a set? (See photos for difference between good fit and not fitting) Frustrating for the cost. The price isn’t cheap, just not as expensive as name brand baby stuff.
5.0 out of 5 stars Best play mat!
Nice play mat, very soft, good size, easy to assemble. Helps with tummy time and development of baby skills!
