The media could not be loaded. A fantastic addition to any GoPro equipment is this lens. It gives your footage a cinematic appearance that the stock lens just cannot match. The lens is simple to install and use, and the build quality is superb.The way this lens flares is one of my favorite features. This lens lives up to the reputation of anamorphic lenses for having exquisite flares. The footage gains a magical touch from the dreamy and gentle flares.The way this lens compresses the image is another feature I like. This makes your video more cinematic by giving it a larger aspect ratio.

Overall fit and finish of the lens is top notch. Anamorphic lenses bring that light flare into the shot that no other lens can do. This being for the GoPro Hero 9, it really does a spectacular job of being easy to use as well of offering a way to get some creativity into certain shot that have a light source in them. Think of it like being able to add those color flairs that director J.J Abrams is so well known for putting in his movies like Star Trek.

I haven’t even used it yet, but I’m giving it 5 stars based on YT reviews and footage I’ve seen.Plus, REMARKABLY inexpensive, based on the camera manufacturer’s pricing history if they even offered a comparable product…which they don’t.I plan on shooting with this SOLELY for a long time to get the feel for this cropping on my GoPro. It requires a 1-click change in your post program to fix the scale for editing. Most editing programs will surely do this, but if it doesn’t, you can use the complicated DaVinci Resolve program, FREE!, to do it and then import the footage into your favorite editing program.Check out YT channels for more info on this lens.

Haven't found any free editing tools to desquish the footage. If the stabilization is on you will see the edges of the lense with movement of camera. Will need an external gimble.
