5.0 out of 5 stars Decorative (Not Industrial) Pipe - Easy to Install for 1/2 Inch Sheetrock
First of all - for everyone who is saying that this is not like black iron pipe you would get in the plumbing section of Home Depot - it's NOT that kind of pipe - it is a DECORATIVE SHELF BRACKET THAT LOOKS LIKE PIPE. It is made of thinner metal and the threads and the flanges cannot be compared to black pipe for industrial use because it is not the same kind of pipe - it is not designed to carry natural gas or water - it is a decorative shelf bracket. The second thing you need to be aware of is that the anchors that are provided in the kit are for 1/2 inch sheetrock. If you live in a mobile or manufactured home with 3/8 inch sheetrock the anchors will not work correctly and your shelf will not hold. So if your living situation is associated with thinner sheetrock you will want to buy your own anchors to hold the screws. With that out of the way, once you have realistic expectations for the pipe and make sure your anchors are appropriate for your sheetrock, it is easy to install and looks quite lovely when done.

I love these, they look great in my rustic kitchen and are very sturdy. They hold up a shelf that holds my cast iron cookware and are a great price.

Easy to install. Pretty hardware. Looks unique and fun. Attached through hollow walls using 1/2 bit and 3/8" toggle bolts (not supplied). They do supply the in wall mollies and the black screws for more solidly constructed walls, screws are both long and short. Drilled right into the shelf nicely through their round mounting plates. Great product. Fast delivery by Bolo.

Love the brackets, but one of the 12 flanges was too big for the pipe to be secured in the flange. See photo. Since I purchased 6 brackets to support 3 shelves, now I can only support 2 shelves. I will attempt to get a replacement flange through Bolo.

These are 100% defective. The pipes that fit into the flanges are way too small in diameter so the threads don’t match up at all - they just slide in and slide out. My mistake for buying these way before I needed them since the return window has come and gone. Save yourself the “convenience” and just go to the hardware store and piece it together…like I’m doing now.
