This silly RC car is my son favorite toy he has ever had. And he’s had a lot.It is insanely durable. This thing takes such a beating going down stairs, outdoor slides, brick, patio, hardwood, low pile carpet… it’s good on any of that. Grass and thick carpets not so much. The wing on the back cracked off only after one particularly rough bout but still worked perfectly. A wheel popped off twice but was super glued on, worked perfectly again.It charges quickly and lasts a really long time. I can’t even remember the last time we used it til absolute dead battery. He will play w it for two hours and then come in and charge it. Then take it off and play w it again. It’s always ready to rock and was also ready to rock right out of the box. Remote came w batteries!Somehow I think after probably a year of having this the remote went south. It was no longer sending a signal to the car. Initially I thought it was the car but it wasn’t. We had a full on a funeral for Lightning. We walked him solemnly to the kitchen garbage, sang a sad tune, thanked him for his year of unrelenting service, and put him in the garbage. My son cried on my shoulder for 3 minutes and we got through the loss together. I immediately ordered a new one and she proceeded to ask me if it had been dropped off yet for the next 30 hours.We got the new one yesterday and he was so happy he takes it everywhere w him. He charged it himself and tucks the little cord back in. Which probably my one annoyance is that cord. It’s like 3 inches long. It just hangs from whatever it’s charging into and also does not come w any kind of charging block. It’s a usb jack. Most of us have 786 blocks laying around so I’m sure it won’t be a problem for you finding one I just don’t like how short the cord is. But then again it makes it possible to just stuff back into its little compartment. So. I don’t know. Small issue though.This thing is an amazing toy and for $15 it’s definitely worth it. Hard to really come up w genuine issues. One thing I wish is that it had options w like the whole fleet. He would flip if he could also have a Jackson storm or a Sally car to play w too.

I just bought this yesterday and it came this morning between 4am-6am. Very fast delivery!My two year old son absolutely loves this toy!!!He hasn’t put it down since he opened it. He even took his nap w lightning McQueen 2day lol. & he’s sleeping with him now! It makes me happy that he loves this toy. It’s made well. The controller is easy to use. He has thrown it down a few times and it’s holding up. Thankfully! All I have to say is the price is great and it made my two year old so happy. I definitely recommend this if your child loves the movie Cars! It seems to be durable and it works great. I like that you can charge it and you don’t need batteries. Since we opened it I haven’t had to charge it yet and it’s been a full day so the battery lasts quite a while!

The media could not be loaded. My almost 3 year old son loves this. We’ve bought three so far, one for dads house, one for moms house, and one he brought into the bathtub lol. It’s really fast, and holds a decent charge. Great price. Hours of entertainment. He can take quite the beating as well. Ours have been driven off countertops many times with no issues.

We got this for our 3 yr old and he has loved it. It's pretty easy for him to maneuver and I'd say battery life is decent. I like that it's rechargeable too, saves us buying new batteries all the time.The toy has a "turbo" mode which makes McQueen drive even faster - we all thought that was pretty cool! He's also quite sturdy and doesn't feel cheap.

Almost everything about the car is amazing for the price. Cheap, fast and comes with rechargeable batteries.Apartment from it having a tiny bit of lag when responding to commands, my main gripe is that it only has traction on a single wheel. Si, if youre using it on flat, slightly slippery surfaces (like wooden floors) it becomes uncontrollable and mostly wants to do donuts. I'm able to tame it by applying short bursts, but you can't expect a 6year old to be doing that. Also, that's not how it's supposed to function.I'll be requesting a replacement in case I got a faulty car with a loose wheel, but my bet is on a design flaw. If it was just a bad lemon, I'll provide an update.Edit.: got my replacement and works without issues. 4 stars for slight delay in response to camands and other minor issues.

This is a great little toy. It is surprisingly strong and built well for such a cheaper remote controlled car. It works very well, my son has driven it all over the house. It is an exact replica of lightning McQueen. Perfect coloring. It is nice and compact so easy to store.

Don't let the cheap price tag and unknown brand name fool you, this is a super fun toy at a bargain price. I got it on a whim and my toddler loves it. Charging is easy and it has good battery life. Seems pretty durable too and survived many falls from 3-6 feet up onto hard wooden floors. For $14.49, I definitely got my money's worth already.

Bought this as a gift for a three year old’s birthday, and it pretty much matches up to its $15 price tag in terms of its value. The battery life is decent, the design is spot on to the character.Don’t expect great performance— the car doesn’t turn very well. It also feels like it could break pretty easily, although despite that it has managed to last a week so far which is pretty good given that it hasn’t exactly been played with gently.It isn’t super easy to control, but even if they ditch the remote and play with it like a non-RC car it still works fine. Ask me how I know!All in all, you get what you pay for. It technically functions as it should and is somewhat durable, so I can’t really knock any stats for that. Just don’t expect a top of the line RC car and you’ll be good!
