5.0 out of 5 stars Great upgrade for my setup!
I bought this to upgrade my mouse because I hate using iCue and needed a white mouse to match my new setup. I think it's wonderful! For reference, my palm size is ~8-9cm. I mostly play FPS.TLDR: I think the mouse is great. This mouse is perfect for those who press down pretty hard/have a heavy hand. This mouse has a lot of tactile feedback. You can't add weights out the box, but can mod it probably. It's on the larger side. I have had no latency issues. You can use the GHub to really customize your mouse how you want, as it has TONS of options on that end.Notes-My original problem: My scroll wheel was wayyyy too loose out the box. It was extremely smooth, but it meant that I couldn't use my scroll wheel at all. I think me pressing it in to ping enemies accidentally solved this issue, but it took a few tries. It was actually so bad originally that I couldn't use my scroll wheel to swap weapons because just moving the mouse made the scroll wheel spin, so I disabled it. (Playing Mercy in OW2 was genuinely impossible. I'd swap weapons so fast I couldn't shoot nor use my staff)But now that it's fixed, it's actually quite clicky and snappy. It has more resistance than my old Corsair mouse. Very helpful for shaky hands! It does not have the option to add extra weights like my Nightsword. I wanted to buy a mouse that did, and I was told you could do it with this mouse. (Another mouse from the 502 line has this). It does have a little circular compartment (meant for the receiver) you could try modding to add some weight, though. The compartment is pretty large so I have no doubts that someone has already modded their mouse. It has taken me a little while to adjust to the new weight. The buttons are kinda stiff in a way, but extremely responsive and satisfying to use. It feels very different from all the other mice I've used. The stiffness for me is preferred! On my original Nightsword, I would somehow accidentally press LMB and RMB occasionally. This hasn't happened so far.I haven't noticed any latency and at first, I genuinely forgot this was a wireless mouse. This mouse is also on the bigger side. It's larger than my Nightsword for sure. This was still a good size for me, as I like the mouse being a bit large. This is the largest mouse I've ever used. For customization, you use the G Hub. You can have 5 different DPI settings and can reassign buttons or even just disable them. My favorite thing is the ability to choose to keep the physical DPI shift button. There is a replaceable part you can swap it with in the package. The left and right scroll wheel clicks are also really neat, especially as a student.
5.0 out of 5 stars My favorite mouse yet!
I've been a huge fan of Logitech since my first real dive with them back in 2005 or so, with a G700 mouse. Probably before that too, honestly, but I can't remember any models off the top of my head.In recent times, I've had the original G502, the wireless G502 lightspeed, a G602, G900, and the blue g pro wirelesss "league of legends" edition. I also have a razer viper ultimate handy, soooo......The g502 is my favorite line of mouse. It's a little heavier, and that wouldn't be so great if I were the kind of person that flings their mouse all over the mousepad, but I'm not. What the G502 series brings to the table is a slightly wider body and a MUCH nicer scroll wheel. It also has great buttons and rubber grips. It's a happy balance between comfort and performance. It also feels great in my hand - and my hands are on the small-medium size for a guy.The G502x changes out the old microUSB port for a USB-C port. FINALLY! I am happy to report that it works well with all of my USB-C cables. The RGB lighting is pretty neat and has animations, and the millennium falcon design looks SO DARN COOL. The thumb trigger button gained a magnetic cover, which is cool because you can flip it around to make the button easier to reach - this was a problem for me before! I don't have big hands, so it's nice that I could reach that more easily now.The mouse comes with a regular white rubber USB-C cable. That's a little disappointing, considering the older G502 wireless came with a braided cable. That said, I use these red braided cables I bought for all of my charging needs and they look fantastic with the red accents on this mouse!I will also add, that as a linux user primarily, I never installed the drivers and it works fine with the stock configuration. On top you'll find a red button that switches the scroll wheel between clicky and freespin modes, and a light purple button that switches between dpi profiles. There's also an LED that indicates various things - it flashes red when the mouse battery is low.... but this is actually kinda hard to notice.
5.0 out of 5 stars Logitech G502 X Mouse
Using this mouse with a laptop. It works right out the box! I plugged the USB adapter into the laptop and even before the laptop was configured, the mouse worked. I love how the mouse lights up. I also love how the USB-C cable plugs into the front, so it can even be used as a wired mouse while it's charging (unlike the magic mouse made by others!). The scroll wheel is smooth and works perfect and is a pleasure to use. There's a ton of buttons, and on a slow day I'll take the time to configure them. I'm not using the mouse for gaming, but I wanted the responsiveness, look, and feel of this mouse. The way this fits is so natural - the thumb rest, the palm rest, the wheel location, the main left and right buttons - everything fits and acts just like it should. I'm even using this mouse on a fabric couch and it works amazing. I'm so impressed and would highly recommend this mouse. If you want a cheap mouse that gets the job done - this isn't for you. If you're looking for a high end mouse that can do it ALL (gaming, browsing, any surface, lights, buttons...) this is IT.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great and reliable
Easy to connect and use right away. The battery life is incredible, so you don't have to worry about running out unless you forget to charge it multiple nights in a row. Though its slightly heavy, the pads on the bottom are very nice, so it glides across mousepads easily, and feels agile. The buttons feel nice, and the RGB is good. The only issue is that the Logitech Hub app is somewhat unreliable, but otherwise the mouse is excellent.

insanely good mouse, super responsive and lightweight + the coolness factor
The media could not be loaded. they get what you pay for scenario, and you get a lot for your money with this bad boy. It is feature packed I could go on forever talking about it, but you can find all those features listed elsewhere. Ergonomically is very comfortable to use for long periods of time and has excellent battery life in real world usage As well as being fully programmable/customizable. I've had some pretty high-end mouses in my day from Razor and other companies and not much if anything can out compete this, if so it's by such a slim margin you would never notice. The coolness factor is off the charts as that's the first thing people notice in my entire set up full of the coolest gadgets like a Divoom Time Gate and stuff like that everywhere so much that my media room/man cave Is a tech gadget Wonderland of tasteful items and almost 20 sets of Almost everything Govee lighting has to offer to top it off. just keep an eye out for sale as it's obviously not the most affordable mouse on the market, but nobody ever regrets purchasing the best quality product, you'll never sit there months later thinking, boy I wished I had a lower quality mouse, as you will forget about the price pretty quickly, but you will be stuck with whatever most you buy, So depending on the application get the right mouse for the job so you have no regrets..
