These strips helped protect my tender skin after leg surgery. I couldn’t stand to have the covers rub against them. They don’t fall off in the shower but you can easily peel them off when you’re ready. You can trim them to fit and I can wear a sock under my boot without it felling bulky or irritating. The scars don’t appear as raised as they did four weeks ago so maybe they do help with the healing process, unsure about that, but they worked for other requirements in my case.

I have used these strips twice. The first time for 4 hours as recommended and I found the strip to be easy to adhere to my scar from open heart surgery. It also eased some of the pain that the incision has given me. It was easy to remove and I kept it for further use. I had cut the strip in half lengthwise to fit my scar so yesterday when I was going to be gone from my home, I used the other half to make sure it would stay on. I was not able to remove it after 4 hours as I wanted to because of my location (a wedding & reception) and when I removed it several hours later, the scar/incision was red and looked and felt bad. It was fine this morning, just a little red, and I believe I left the strip on for too long. My surgery was 13 weeks ago and the incision is healed, or so I thought but maybe it is too soon. I still gave a 5 star rating because I think I was not ready for the strips and I will try them again in a few weeks doing it for shorter periods to start as is recommended. I was impressed with the fact that when I used the first time it relieved the discomfort.

I started using these a few weeks after hand surgery. It was easy to apply, stayed on the top part of my hand and didn't fall off. I will be purchasing these again for my 2nd hand surgery.

Opti- Heal are strips that are used for scars and other marks that may have occurred after surgery. This is a popular brand and came recommended from my physician. This works very well and you can cut the strips to cover your scars. The adhesion and the ease of use is excellent. You can take them off and reapply but I don’t reapply. I change my strips every two days with new strips. Another great thing is that you can shower with the strips and they don’t come off. 5/5 for me!

I had high hopes for the Neo G Opti-Heal Wound Recovery Silicone Scar Strips based on the positive reviews and the product claims, but unfortunately, they didn’t work for me. After using them consistently for several weeks on a surgical scar, I saw no noticeable improvement.The strips did stay on fairly well throughout the day, but they were not as comfortable as expected, especially around areas where skin movement is frequent. They also started to peel off after a couple of showers despite being advertised as waterproof.What was most disappointing was the lack of any visible reduction in the scar's appearance. I followed the instructions carefully and wore them as directed, but the scar looks the same as it did before I started using the strips.Overall, these silicone strips didn’t deliver the results I was hoping for. They might work for some, but in my case, they were an expensive product that did not live up to expectations.

I bought this due to skin breaking down in my breast area. The skin split and it felt like a burn. Applied the strip (you can cut it to size) and it about 3 days the area was healing. Thankful I found this product.
