I DJ weddings and this was a great addition to my light bar. It is also nice to have for smaller bar gigs where I don't need my full big lighting setup.

Easy to plug into the wall. Set it up on a shelf at the back of the room. Didn’t bother screwing it into the ceiling or installing it. Rented a space for the party, small/medium sized room. Worked perfectly for the space. Cool designs and colors. Bright. People walked in front of it a lot and blocked the projection though. Worth the buy if needed for small dark parties. Really made the black lights/glow in the dark theme come together.

As a wedding DJ, I'm always looking for new lights to add to my lighting setup. This light is a nice addition! I went with the metal shell version since I am generally at different locations every weekend, I wanted one that was solid, versus the plastic version. The light has cool patterns, lighting effects, is compact, and easy to use. Where it's a smaller light, it doesn't take up much space on my truss but provides a lot of coverage with lighting.The cord that it comes with is an extra long cord and as a DJ who has bought and used many lights, having a long cord on any dance light is a huge plus! The remote is a nice, quality remote that almost feels like a TV remote with its design. The only "negative" thing that I would say about the light is that you have to be in front of the light for the remote to work. If you stand behind the light with the light facing away from you, the light doesn't pick up on the remote signal. This is a small issue (and I've experienced this with other lights too) but I thought I'd mention it for those buying the light thinking that their remote doesn't work...it does, you just have to stand in front of the light to turn it on, select features, etc. However, at less than $50, I'm happy with this light and look forward to continually using it!

Needed lighting for a performance stage that had only overhead canned lighting. After trying several other types of light, found these and bought two. They are perfect with remote control activation and operation (no mobile device or Bluetooth required). Red, Green and Blue lighting with many setting options to chose from. Will likely purchase another one to put behind the drummer for larger venues. We didn't mount on walls, but would recommend placing them up off the floor so they aren't stepped on or tripped over. The removable plug cord was long enough for our needs.

The media could not be loaded. I promise you I never leave Bolo reviews but this light was so good, I had to come back just to let others know. Firstly this light is BRIGHT. Not too bright but just perfect to light an entire room (large room). This light easily makes it across my entire master bedroom. It has soooooo many different options and you can even set a time or slow down the light show. I've never seen a light display musical notes and other very clear, vivid shapes. I love it!. It even plays sound!! The remote works perfectly as well.
