Listening to Happier Than Ever is like being serenaded by a moody ghost who haunts the basement of a recording studio. Billie Eilish’s low, whispery vocals are undeniably unique—like she’s delivering a secret that you’re not entirely sure you wanted to know. Her distinguished vocal range is somewhere between a sultry jazz singer and a sleepy robot, and while I can appreciate the artistry, it occasionally feels like my ears are being emotionally guilt-tripped.But here’s the thing: my 15-year-old daughter loves this album. LOVES it. She’s practically glued to her headphones, muttering something about “relatable vibes” while I wonder if I missed the memo on what “relatable” means these days. So, while I might find Billie’s low-register whispers grating to my tired parental soul, the kids clearly think she’s a genius.Verdict: If you’re a teenager, this album is life-changing. If you’re a parent, it’s tolerable at best—but hey, at least it’s not Baby Shark. 10/10 in my daughter’s eyes, and honestly, her approval is all that matters.

Feine Arbeit der jungen Dame
Was neue Künstler betrifft bin ich ja eher skeptisch und was mir da so bei den MTV Video Music Awards geboten wurde ging mir ehrlich gesagt am Ar.....vorbei. Bis auf diese junge Dame hier. Sowohl das aktuelle als auch die " Happier than ever" find ich richtig gelungen und auch durchaus zurecht in den Top Listen vertreten. Keine dieser Zappelbarbies . Songs die man sehr bewußt aber auch Nebenbei Hören kann. 👍
