BinaxNOW COVID-19 Antigen Test from Abbott can be used to detect active infection, with or without symptoms. The rapid-result test is or personal use. See results in 15 minutes. The box includes 2 tests that are indicated for serial testing. Serial testing should be performed in individuals with negative results at least twice over three days (with at least 48 hours between tests) for symptomatic individuals and at least three times over five days (with at least 48 hours between tests) for asymptomatic individuals.

My wife ordered these and it got delivered the next morning. The actual test i thought was great. There was a folded paper inside the box with pictures and detailed instructions how to use the test properly. I thought it was a good value because we received 4 tests in the single box.The test results are quick - just 15 minutes. Luckily, my son tested negative for covid.

the card-and-stick method is slightly better than the drops-in-a-box method, I think. No test involving a nasal swab is pleasant, even if you do only need to stick that stick up there less than an inch. The only way to get a 5 star test kit would be a no-contact method, and that's not biologically plausible. So, four stars for being accurate, effective, and somewhat easier to handle than the alternative.

Had a COVID crisis back in July and the various test kits we had were over a year past use by date. The other kits leaked or dried out. The 12 month past use by date Binax kit was still factory fresh and worked to detect we had COVID.
