I have really been liking this product. I can see a noticeable difference, a fading of my darkest spots. I really appreciate that it’s not too strong and has never given me a burning or ouch sensation, unlike other retinol products.Other reviews talk about smell or color and personally it looks and smells normal to me!

I started using this product and then applied sunscreen over it and shortly within 1 weeks big size bumps and a minor red patch on the face appeared . Did not return this product. and rather used it on my Knees and Elbows

I had clear skin before trying this product just a light amount of freckles/discoloration. I wanted to see my discoloration fade. I didn’t see much of a difference at all. However, there were no negative side effects. I used it every other day or so. I’d say, go ahead and try it but don’t expect a miracle.

I purchased this item about 2 weeks ago to help “correct” hyperpigmentation in the form of acne scars, left behind by another Bolo purchase. Happy to report that so far, no adverse reactions to this brightening serum. It wears well under sunscreen, no pungent odor, nice texture (very water-like) … it is too soon to report on the effectiveness of the product as acne scars can take months to fade completely. I’m happy with the ingredients & so far is the only product on Bolo I’ve considered “subscribing” to on a recurring basis.Price may seem steep at first but considering how little of the product I’ve used up within 2 (perhaps 3) weeks, it is worthwhile. I use this morning & night. Here’s my morning routine: wash with a mild cleanser, follow it up with this serum, wait a few minutes & apply my moisturizing Black Girl Sunscreen. End of routine.
