I think these are cut from inner tubes. They are thick, have limited stretch and are very tough. They are not like office supply rubber bands. They would not work well on a rubber band gun.

Handy Black Rubber Bands!
Surprising how hard it is to find black rubber bands, these are perfect for general use and look much nicer than standard tan-coloured rubber bands.
