I sliced off the side of my thumb on a mandolin and went to my neighbor for help. After a quick rinse to visualize the wound, she opened a pack of WoundStop and poured it on as directed. The bleeding stopped. It worked quickly to stop the profuse bleeding and didn’t cause any discomfort. So I purchased some for my first aid kit. This stuff is amazing.My neighbor applied a pressure bandage and checked the wound the next day, removing the leftover Wound Stop with wound spray and bandaged it. There was no more bleeding. I didn’t have to go to Urgent Care. I checked in with my hand doctor later in the week, and he said we’d done the right thing.

If you are on blood thinners These are a must have. Just followed the directions and the bleeding will stop almost immediately. I never go without them. I have some in my car in my house and pack a few in my luggage when we go on vacation don’t leave home without them. Very highly recommended.

I take blood thinners so it's difficult for scrapes from the dogs to heal. This powder forms as a scab on your wound. It turns hard and within days the wound has healed. A week at the most depending on how deep the cut is.

I had a stent put in in February 2024. After that I was put on blood thinners for a year. In September 2024 I was ripping some boards on my table saw and ran my left thumb through the blade. Dumb move. I immediately grabbed the Bleedstop and tried to rip open the package. I had to grab a pair of scissors to open the package. It is tough to open one handed. After dumping the contents, on my thumb, I called a friend to take me to the ER. Fifteen stiches later, I still had my thumb. My shop is covered in blood, but it could have been a lot worse. Thanks to Bleedstop I didn't bleed out. I immediately ordered another box of Bleedstop to put in my cars, house and my shop.
Works fantastic
I have suffered from bloody noses for years. A little bit of this on my pinky up the nose and voilà stop bleeding within 30 seconds to one minute.
