This car is really fast and fun to drive for the money. It has some great metal internal parts that make it definitely worth the money. I would say this is a good entry level RC car that's fun for kids and adults. However it does some issues you might want to consider. The Battery is a Li-Ion and it's basically trash compared to a LiPo. Don't even try to use the provided chargers they are literally garbage. So you will have to buy a normal charger and probably regular LiPo 3s batteries. The shocks are not oil filled. It leads to some traction problems but they are okay. The battery straps it came with broke in a few days that's another added expense. The receiver range on this car is pretty crappy. You can't drive it more than 50 yards without it loosing signal. Overall this car has a lot of positives and a lot of negatives. It is really fast and fun but it does have some drawbacks to this package deal.

This is better than beginner quality. The shocks are not oil filled but grease filled. Do yourself a favor and spend a 20 on oil filled shocks. You'll be happy that you did. The vehicle is fast and durable. It's also easy to control and has a long range from the radio. I purchased this as a way to get into the hobby on the cheap. In my opinion, this car is worth more than the asking price. I bought one for a coworker and now he's hooked. Again, this is better than beginner quality. Replacement parts are readily available and dirt cheap.
1.0 out of 5 stars Flat spot on tires & HORRIBLE customer service!
I don’t normally write reviews, but this is my 5th rc in the last 2 months and my 2nd DEERC! Love the 1215 Panther, had NO issues with it other than raising body… My issue is that I kept seeing the headlights bouncing at me and noticed 3 out of 4 tires have huge flat spots! I have tried putting them in warm water and heating them with no success! Sucks that I have to buy new tires before running rc, also body when clipped in will lift a little of the body making it rattle! Out of the box drivetrain is dry, diffs def need some grease as well as spur gear! Shocks come with a tad bit of oil, I added more shock oil and they all leaked down thru shaft, absolutely disappointing after having such a positive experience with 1215! Might be the first rc I ever send back!*****UPDATE 9/30/2024*****DEERC ended up sending me a set if tires, that were smaller than the tires on any of my RCs, hole for the hub was also smaller than the standard size…. They then wanted me to ship the truck back to them, out of my own pocket mind you, to possibly get it back in a month and a half, when I could just send it back to Bolo!! I ended up reaming the small tires out and put them on an 1/14 SCT I have, thanks for back ups I guess! They seem to have canceled my replacement axles for 1215 that bent upon hitting the smallest obstacle! DEERC was horrible custom service to deal with but I am still keeping both RCs because I enjoy the hobby and tinkering, I’ll make it better than they could🙂

Good value, it's practically a rocket!
We took this on the oval night before last and this thing is a rocket! It's easy to adjust the max speed for when the little ones are using it but full speed is a heap of fun! 2 batteries are a bonus. I'd like to see a better quality controller but for $200 is a bargain!
Great Car.
My son absolutely loves this car. While I’m sure that he’s not being able to use it to the fullest of its ability as he is 6. Is super easy to steer and control and his favourite thing to do with it is burnouts in the dirt.
A wheel came off after 1 day of use
The RC car is pretty good in general.Unfortunately after 1 day of use, we lost 1 of tje rear wheels.The wheel came loose and we have lost a bunch of parts.The replacement kit is pretty handy, but what is typically an aluminum part has a plastic replacement. This throws the car out of balance.Don't get discouraged, the car is a lot of fun and Bolo return policy is great. They have looked after us. We will be returning the faulty car and will be buying the same one.Just make sure to check all the wheels for tightness before use.
Fast, Responsive control, Durability
Fast fun good size car that can run on anything, especially on grass. Remote control is very responsive. 2× 3S battery provided in the box that can last up to 20mins as described. Durability is also good. This review is after 3 months of ownership. Bought this for $185 on sale. Go get them !!!
