I bought this Greenlife 6 quart ceramic slow cooker to replace one that broke last year. I wasn't sure if I wanted a slow cooker with the ceramic stone insert or this one with the lightweight ceramic coated metal insert. I decided to go with this one as it is lighter in weight and easier for me to carry and store.I have cooked in this twice now and both times the food came out perfectly. Cleanup was easy, nothing stuck to the insert.The controls are easy to use. One must press the on/off button firmly to get the slow cooker to turn on. Once its on you press mode to chose the temperature then turn the dial to choose the time. If you want to delay the start of the cooker you set that after you set the cook temp and time. Once the cooking time is done, the cooker switches to keep warm and counts down from 4 hours.I also like the fact that this cooker is deeper than other 6 quart cookers. Being deeper it fits in the same sized spot on my shelf as my 3-1/2 quart Crockpot.

Lightweight (which was a relief at my age) beautiful looking, roomy inside that had a lovely safe nonstick surface. You have the added benefit of browning on stove top in the cooker pan should you want to.Not only beautiful in teal that I bought but many other colors available. I put together the makings for a roast chicken, easily set the timer to delay the start and pressed the number of hours I wanted to cook on low. Went to bed wondering if it worked. Woke up to a delicious fragrance in the air. Looked at the chicken inside the cooker and it was perfectly cooked. In my very old cooker the chicken looked like it exploded. In this new great cooker the chicken was whole and presentable and perfectly cooked. Wish this was available when I first started using slow cookers. An added note the inner removable cooking pan has lovely little sparkling non stick finish that the child in me loves looking at. I can’t say enough good about this cooker.

I love everything about this slow cooker! It is light weight, super easy to clean and very easy to use. I recently replaced a ceramic slow cooker that was way too heavy, ran very hot (even on the low setting) causing the food to burn and made it very difficult to clean. The GreenLife cooks very evenly. It has a definitive low setting that remains stable all day and the food is cooked perfectly. I just used the high setting today to rush some soup along in 3 hours and it worked perfectly. Highly recommend!

Purchased this to replace a ceramic slow cooker that worked well for over 10 years. I liked the capability of searing meat in the slow cooker and of course my wife loved the color. She has all the matching pans and kitchen utensils from Green Life. I cook a lot of stew, whole chicken and now use it for Brisket searing it in the pan on the oven and just putting the pan in the slow cooker. It has simple controls, cleans up well and really looks good in our kitchen. However, I don't give anything a 5 star rating unless its absolutely perfect. The unit has four bumps on the bottom with rubber inserts to sit on. It also has two bolts coming out that for some reason are about 1/16" longer than the rubber bumps causing it to rock some on the counter top rather than sitting on all four rubber bumps. I have a silicon mat I put under it as I don't want the screws sitting on my granite counter top. Doesn't effect the performance just annoying.....

Fantastic Slow Cooker
This slow cooker is amazing.! Very light weight. I love that you can brown your meat right in the insert on top of the stove. No extra frying pans to wash. It cleans up really easily, food doesn’t stick. The digital settings and delay timer makes this slow cooker so versatile. I love this slow cooker. I highly recommend it. So much better than the crockery inserts which are so heavy and awkward.

I live alone and I don't have a lot of time to prepare meals. This cooker was so simple to use and exceeded my expectations. It cooked a perfect meal. It's a bit pricy but good quality made. I recommend this slow cooker.
