TL;DR buy it now and you won't regret. This is an amazing product.Nothing short of Apple class packaging, perfect balance of sturdiness and portability. Crisp, proper installation and user's manual. Next, the product itself. Amazing build quality, everything machined with surgical precision, fits, snaps, unsnaps just as expected. Nothing wobbles or leaves any room for uncertainty. In terms of functionality, we are having a blast. We bought two of these and the double-up chassis accessory, traveled 11 time zones away with both of them internationally - batteries carried on, rest checked in. Our snorkeling experience is now much better, we can dive deeper, cover more area and able to observe fast swimming fishes easier yet still quiet and precise enough that it doesn't bother sealife. We also bought extra batteries and I suggest you to do the same. For a 190lb adult, doubled up config at full blast lasts 20-30 mins of scooting time; which equates to 1hr in water. Swap out to spare set and you're good to do for another.Maintenance: this is where reading the manual is very important. This is a precision device and should be given the respect it deserves. No leaving it with salt water.Our routine is to snorkel in sea, then finish playing in the pool for another 5-10 mins; then give it a freshwater rinse; then let it dry on a towel, then also properly dry with towel before opening the battery housing.Remote control can control both units at once; and it's charge lasts for 2 days of use, roughly. It has a magnetically snapping charging cable with usb-a on the other end (USB charger not included).Nitpicking: if you are the kind who nitpicks, a few items for you:1) ..(5mins later).. can't find any, sorry :)Now on to playing superman with my son in the pool.

I used this product on a trip to Virgin Gorda. It was very easy to pack in my checked bag, I could have put it in my carry-on. The scooter functioned flawlessly while on the trip. It was easy to assemble, the controls are easy to use. I packed it in pieces and put it together when I got there. the three speeds are nice. I ended up buying the extra battery, but I probably didn't need it. We were out free diving for three or four hours, and I would just use it to boost my swimming from time to time, and the battery lasted the whole time. I am a big guy, 6'8" and 275. This scooter did not drag me through the water at a high speed like the giant ones do in the videos with little kids. I guess, but it was a great assist, and I am a really buoyant guy, and it helped me get down deep in the water. It was able to pull me through the water under its own power, without me assisting at all. This was especially helpful in really shallow water over top of reefs, because I could just make myself float really well and let it pull me through. It seems to be really really well-made, and I felt like friggin James Bond zipping around the ocean.

The device performed well but the quality is poor the paint is chipping off the motor andbecause it made in China you get no warrantysupport . Return for new one .

Its good for smaller lighter person but when you double them up (which is what i did) its really nice. I used it to get to my boat in cold choppy waters in lake tahoe and it was a saviour. For avg adult men maybe best to double them up. Its a james bondy kind of jet pack and solid well made parts. There is an optional backpack that the double jet pack fits nicely in. Everything good quality. It will be fun to use in Caribbean keeping up with turtles…etcHappy with my purchase.

If you need a some help getting to your favorite snorkeling spot without wasting all your energy on the swim out, this could be what you're looking for. It's easy to use and everything you need to get started is included right in the box (even a fully charged battery). My local beach usually has a small shore break as well as a few sandbar breaks that aren't particularly big, but can wear you down when you're trying to snorkle a couple hundred yards offshore. This compact diving scooter made the swim out much faster and easier.Assembly is simple and straightforward. The grips attach to the crossbar and the crossbar bolts to the motor. Remove the nose from the motor and install the battery. Assembly is done.Construction quality is absolutely top notch. Every single piece and part is well-finished and fits perfectly. You might be surprised to learn that the battery compartment is not actually watertight, but rather the battery itself and the battery connector are fitted with a strong watertight seal. When you wash it out with fresh water, you'll want to fully submerge the unit to make sure you flush any salt water out of the battery compartment before disconnecting the battery. And of course, wait until the unit has dried out before removing the battery.The controls are super easy. Just hold the low-profile toggle switches on both the motor and control grip for several seconds and LED lights let you know that each component is active. The control grip automatically pairs with the motor, and that's pretty much it. Just pull the trigger and you're ready to go.There's a bit of a latency between when you press the trigger and when the motor responds, but I suppose that's to be expected with a wireless control system. What I found surprising is that there is no variable speed regardless of how the trigger is pressed. The motor is either on or off, with no steps in between. Not really a major issue for an entry level diving scooter, but it seems like something that could have easily been included.At any rate, this is a great addition to my collection of beach gear, and it's going to get a lot of use this summer. Recommended.

Very light, compact, easy to use, easy to maintain.Replaceable battery.Must parts are available online.Variety of accesories to wear it on your hips, attach to scuba tanks and surfboards. You can also attach two S1 with an available bracket.GREAT PRODUCT!
