I put it together easily. Mom is 91 and needed a little balance up and down with her bad knee. It is very stable and strong. It is well balanced and made with sturdy materials. I think they thought of everything when designing this item. The only issue would be that it does make it a little hard to move around to reach the toilet paper and to clean around it. That being said, it can easily be taken down and clean the area then put it back. All in all I feel this has been a great asset to my mother's wellbeing and safety. Thank you for building a well-made and reliable product!
5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent safety rails for toilet - sturdy & adjustable
We had to return the first rails we bought because there wasn't enough room behind the seat for the rails and the bidet to be secured. These rails completely avoid that issue because they form a free standing, but secure, frame around your toilet. We appreciated the adjustable handle width, as I have a wall mounted TP holder on one side. They included a strap to secure the frame around the back of the toilet, the frame feels rock solid without it, but my hubby put it on as a fail-safe from this tipping forward. This was the most difficult part of the install, which isn't bad. The only tweak we did was to put a thin rubber pad between the toilet and the metal bars in front at the 2 points where they touch. Probably not needed to protect the toilet, but we wanted to be sure. Getting up and down is a breeze now, I highly recommend these toilet rails!

This was a great purchase for when my elderly dad was staying at my house. No need for permanent bars on the wall, and no issues with slipping or tipping. Easy to clean as well.

This is a must for those of us who have had hip replacement surgery and I assume it would also be helpful for those who have had knee replacement surgery as well. Since it is very well built and also tethered to the back and sides of the toilet with a strap, this is very stable. My husband said it was easy to install. The only thing I believe it lacks are cushions on the arms. I like a softer 'arm rest' and so I cut some pool noodles to cover the hard plastic and provide some cushion.

My father had a stroke and his balance was "off" and he has had to use a walker. We got this for him to making getting up and down easier and it truly is great for his safety! Well made too!

These seemed extremely sturdy and solid, I feel like they are a good fit for safety, and the way they fit around the front of the toilet is nice. However, they extend rather far in front of the toilet. Ours is facing a wall, and just getting around the rails to the front of it required some wiggling. If you have a similar layout, this may or may not work for you.
