I tried this item because a dermatologist recommended it to my daughter. I was skeptical because it is so reasonably priced and I am amazed at how much I like it! I am accustomed to spending over $40 for a tiny jar of moisturizer; very thankful I have learned that is not necessary. Cetaphil works just as well as the expensive stuff and I feel like it's better for my skin. It isn't sticky or thick and it hydrates well.

The impact of chemotherapy on your skin and overall appearance can be significant. Following multiple rounds of treatment, I've experienced issues such as irritation and hyperpigmentation. I've experimented with various body lotions and creams designed for very dry and sensitive skin, but many either fail to provide adequate moisture or lead to itching and irritation. However, this particular cream feels exceptionally soothing and smooth on my skin, without any adverse effects. In addition, to Qualify, Thickness, and value for your money compare to expensive products don't deliver the same results.

Seals in moisture after a morning shower and lasts all day. Without an evening shower it lasts into the next day. This is a thick, heavy, difficult to rub in cream, (which I like), except on my hands, face and feet. If it's on my feet I will slip and slide around in my sandals ALL DAY LONG. It's really irritating it's so slippery, (under a pair of socks is no issue). If it's on my hands, eventually I will have to wash it off because I can't grip any smooth object. Even hours later it's a struggle. I don't use it on my face because it irritates my eyes. I use Vanicream Moisturing Lotion for my face, hands and feet. It rubs in fairly quickly, lasts all day and after a few minutes I can grip a ball point pen again.For severe dryness and cracked feet the Cetaphil cream is hard to beat. Apply a heavy layer of the cream on your feet after an evening shower, then put on socks and go to bed and the healing starts that night. Be warned though. The next morning when you step in the shower the water will rehydrate the residual lotion on your feet and it’s like walking on wet ice.My sample arrived with a broken seal. Otherwise looked fine.

I always buy Cetaphil because of its consistent quality. The cream goes on well and is quickly absorbed, leaving my skin moisturized but not greasy. The cream is thick in texture, so I primarily use it in the winter.
