    I never knew I could like walnuts. I had only had black walnuts previously. My Celiac disease sent me looking for nuts that aren't processed on shared equipment with products containing gluten, which is how I came across these walnuts. I was only planning to use these in recipes where the strong and somewhat acrid flavor of black walnuts is mellowed by other foods. Well, I decided to try something new - the Chandler variety, and found a new favorite for recipes and for snacking! If you've never been a big fan of walnuts, try these. They're mellow but with plenty of flavor and good texture too.

    These are kind of expensive, but taste no better than walnuts from Aldi. And the walnuts from Aldi are fine. The hype over this brand is just that, hype.

    This package of walnuts makes me sneeze and causes ibtestinal pain, I haven't experienced this with other brands unless they are cross contaminated with something like pesticide, or.

    These seemed to have been sitting awhile where it is warm but were essentially ok. Flavor not gripping but not bitter either. I've had better tasting and fresher red walnuts in years past, also larger. Overall, howevere, these are ok.
