I got this trash can for my new SUV. I really like it because it holds quite a bit - 5 water bottles plus some other bits of trash. Others have said they found it difficult to use or the strap was not long enough - I did not find that the be the case. The strap is adjustable and was plenty long enough to place around the console so that it sits on the floor in the back seat behind the console. I later moved it to hang behind the passenger seat because I found it was blocking the rear air vent behind the console. I've had other trash cans but had to fight with them to insert the trash. This can stays open because it has hard sides and a flat bottom so you can just drop the trash in. I'm very happy with this.

I love this product. It fits in my car well and is a great size. It stays put really well. The dimensions are accurate. It seems durable, I've been using it for about three months and I haven't found anything to complain of. If you're looking for a compact car trash can or storage bin, I would definitely recommend this product.

It works great and fits it my suv well but it reeked horribly of burnt cigarettes when I received it. I had to leave it outside for several days and still currently working on getting the smell out before I can use it regularly in my car.

I don't usually write reviews for products I get for others, but I ordered this trash can for my husband's car because he really wanted to take care of his brand new car and keep it nice, but struggles sometimes with remembering to bring trash in when he gets home. This gives him a place to collect things and he can just dump it out when it's full. The strap fits perfectly in the hinge of the lid of his center console. The waterproof(ish?) lining is great because he'll also use it to transport things that could potentially leak or have condensation. Overall great, simple solution to a problem.

looks and works great, but it came smelling horrible. Either some sort of chemical used in production smells strongly like cigarette smoke, or the one sent to me was kept in brand new condition in a heavy smoker's house and then returned and sent to me. It's really strong so I'm worried about it stinking up my car, so I threw a little baking soda in there to see if it can deodorize some of it.

Most of the other trash cans I have seen for cars are either so small as to be virtually useless, take up too much room, or are unstable. This one has none of those problems. Although it appears to be waterproof, I line it with small plastic trash bags, so I can't comment on that aspect. However, I ordered the large size and it fits perfectly behind my center console on the floor in the back seat area of my GL450, without blocking the heat/ac vents or controls. The strap, which I routed under the lid of the center console, holds the bag upright and in place. The volume actually provides substantial space for trash, without being too big. It also can be used to keep bottled water and other small, but not necessarily tiny items, in.My only complaint is that there is no strap to keep it folded up when empty. It does have two small exterior straps (one on each side) but they are too small to be used to hold the bag shut. In fact, I'm not sure what use they have.
