5.0 out of 5 stars Good deal
Now I have enough to do oil changes the rest of my life, lol. Seriously a great deal for 50 of these
5.0 out of 5 stars Works as Advertised
A good oil drain plug gasket option. The rubber gasket seals and have not had a leak on several applications. Prefer them to the plastic gaskets but only a one time use application.
5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect fit
Perfect fit in my drain plug! Happy with the purchase
5.0 out of 5 stars These actually work
I never had much luck with aluminum/felt washers, but these have worked wonderfully. They don't torque to original spec due to the rubber squishing, but they seem to seal and hold very well. I just get them what feels "good and tight" by hand with my socket wrench.Basically, you get the positive seal of a rubber gasket while also getting the benefit of a metal ring to prevent squish-out so long as the bolt head is broad enough.
5.0 out of 5 stars good quality
Get rid of your nylon washers and use these.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great bargain.
Should have search for these years ago as when my drain plug leaks, I’ve ordered a new plug which comes with a gasket from GM. Now I have a good supply of O-rings, which is the only thing that usually goes bad providing you don’t torque the bolt to the oil pan too tight. Great bargain for a great price!
5.0 out of 5 stars Stop that Oil leak
I have several GM vehicles and this works on all of them. I always used to have a small leak on all my cars but with how cheap these are I have been replacing with every oil change. It has stopped the leaky oil plug every time.
Nylon is last resort but be very cautious
These do work in some cases where there are no inperfection or slight warp of metal bung. But difficult to tell; you will know however when say you change oil and find your pan bolt finger tight only,! Not a happy situation and less so if you aren’t vigilant. All these should be used for things like lawnmowers tillers etc . I’ve seen tragic results on oil pans, transmissions.... with people who used these to service. Soooo rubbers or copper , alum still best washer option depending on application. I use the aforementioned items not on cars or trucks etc. And for the other stuff that they are satisfactory because you see the leak or check , but with vehicles you have seconds to not much more and then !! Note the thick factory nylon stuff used on diffs transfer cases is ok has more meat but I do cringe a bit . Seen lots
