5.0 out of 5 stars As described but needs better glue
Worked great for my purpose. I had a big gap where the LVP met the threshold and it looked bad and always looked dirty. This went on easily but I had to use vice grips and weights to make it stay and keep it flush. I also left it stretched out first to get out the kinks from travel. Worked for me.
5.0 out of 5 stars Nice clean corners!
If you are tiling an inside corner with sticky tiles, you need this. Don't skimp on the edging!
4.0 out of 5 stars Sticky business
I thought I would use this to replace the wood trim around my kitchen countertops, but was talked out of it. Instead, I used it to cover gaps in the DIY refreshing my contractor-grade kitchen in my old and irregular home. Only time will tell. It is super sticky, so don't rush. Make sure you're placing it in its forever(for now) home. I nearly pulled the cabinet panel off trying to reposition. This one is real thick, too, so a heavy duty blade may be better than my scissors and xacto knife.
3.0 out of 5 stars Hard to work with
It comes in roll so your fighting it the whole time working with it because it keeps trying to roll back up.I had to tape it to the floor in order to get a measurement. And it wouldn’t stick because kept trying to roll back upIt’s very pretty otherwise I would have given a 0ne star
5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent!!!
Used to cover gap between Neat Heat and tiled wall. Easy to work with. Strong adhesive. Made my finished project look 10x better!!
1.0 out of 5 stars A quick fix that’s not so quick
I do not like the results I am capable of achieving with a caulk gun or tube of caulk. I discovered these peel and stick style of trim a couple of years ago and was quite pleased with the results they produced until this product … it was a nice thickness, a bright white color and easy to cut. I spent the evening measuring, cutting, and sticking this product to my clean surfaces. The next morning, I awoke and hurried to view my finished project. I was extremely disappointed to find virtually all of my carefully placed pieces not adhered and with sagging, dangling, and humping. I ended up attempting to use a thin layer of caulk to adhere these strips. My poor caulking skills left some humping, and smeared irregularly caulk oozing from the edges. After letting it dry, I attempted to smooth my edges without satisfactorily results. In the end, it took me five to six times to install this rather expensive product than it should have and my results we not much better than I could have achieved with a cheap tube of silicone caulk. Very disappointing product.
5.0 out of 5 stars This stuff has SUPER sticky adhesive
Easy to cut but a bit of a challenge due to how sticky the adhesive is which is GREAT! Nothing negative to say about this product.
2.0 out of 5 stars The tape didn’t hold for crap
The tape was crap. It didn’t even stick to the wall. And a few spots on the roll it wasn’t even stuck to the molding. Had to go buy glue to actually use this.
Use a heat gun to make it plyable.
It sticks well and looks good when installed. I used a heat gun to warm it up; it was far easier to work with when warm. I siliconed both sides of the mating surfaces after. I have no delusions of the quarter round keeping out water with out silicone.I used it to border a stall shower on the side where it meets the walls.
Works!
I had a really awkward gap to fill and everything in the hardware stores was white. This did the trick! I heated it up with a hairdryer to make it more malleable before applying.
Easy to install.
It was very easy to install but I did run a small bead of caulking along the top since it is on the shower. Made a nice finished look.
Excellent Buy
I bought this product as it looked as though it would serve my purpose. I used it between the window frame and windowsill as other product types were too wide. It worked a treat, hid the chipped areas too by the window frame and now it looks pristine. The tip with the hair dryer was great, I had also placed it on a radiator to soften it up but still needed to use the hair dryer. Excellent product and so easy to use.
Difficult to adhere to both sides
Arrived quickly. Good adhesion but not so good in a corner where I wanted it for so a little disappointing.
