For the price this truck is great on further review might not be that great. Raise the body post before you even run it. It runs way faster with the body raised. I also have seen videos where holes have been cut in back window of body to help with air flow. I have not done that yet worried that might weaken the shell. Shell is nice the spare tire and roof lights help protect shell when it rolls. Without them it would be lighter but again shell might take some damage. I have ran 5 battery lives through it and it has held up well with some pretty big crashes. The plastic pieces have lots of flex to them. These newer models only have 1 shell and charger just so you know. The original release had 2 each. Lights are good ran it at twilight last night and was impressed when ran during day didn't think much of them but in dark good. The top lights are a bit of a pain to hook up but when running during day I don't plug them in just hook the wire up in the clip inside the shell so it doesn't hang out of body. Also push the light bar down and push the clips through the 2nd hole in the post so the light bar doesn't rock around.All in all a great truck for the price thats the asterisk. Has good speed with the body lifted. The tires do rub the shell when it is lower. I might trim the wheel wells to eliminate the small amount of rubbing that still happens when turning. Good looking truck, my wife said wow when I 1st showed her so thats pretty high praise. Going to upgrade the battery for a little more power and speed but honestly as is its a good little truck for the $90 I paid. It is a little small for a 1:10 scale as others have noted but all in all I was happy with it.Adding to this run number 6 run front differential seems to have went out no more front wheel drive no hard bombing just driving around no big jumps or anything. Seems like alot to get in and actually see whats up with it going to have to take whole front end apart. This may or may not be worth really fixing might be just rear wheel till it dies. Okay revising again took dif apart looked okay. Replaced a axel going good again. So customer service got a hold of me and is sending some parts so thats cool. Truck is proving to be pretty durable and good customer service gets all 5 stars

This is a great little RC car for the price. The range is great, it’s pretty quick, and relatively durable. I purchased some high capacity 6200 mah batteries and managed to zip tie them onto the frame (see attached pic). Now I can run this thing for an hour straight without having to change batteries. The shocks are adjustable, and I would suggest tightening them down if you want better handling on road surfaces. Overall a joy to operate and puts a smile on my face every time I take it out, which is almost every day.EDIT: Whatever you do, do NOT run 3s batteries in this thing. Surprisingly, for me, it wasn’t the main or servo motors that burned out, but rather it was too much power for the cheap plastic planetary gears inside the servo. Also, it becomes a lot harder to control with 3s, and if you slam it into a curb like I did, say bye bye to your shocks (19-20 mph on 6800mah 2s vs 25-26mph on 3s). Thankfully parts are cheap, and I mean CHEAP to replace. I paid 20 dollars total for a new servo and two shocks, and thankfully they are very easy to replace. I can’t fault the car for me wanting more speed, so the 5 star review stands. I wish there were better servos available, but knowing that they are so cheap to replace means I can run this car for ever. I also kept the motor from the old servo, because it runs just fine, in case this new one burns out for some reason. It is easy to take apart and replace
4.0 out of 5 stars Super fun, but some issues
I have this rc as well as a smaller one with a brushless motor. This would be wicked cool if the motor were brushless, but it's still pretty fast and easier to control offroad then the other one I purchased from these guys. It's definitely not waterproof. The esc started malfunctioning after getting wet. I let it dry for a few days and it hasn't been an issue since. The company also sent me a new esc. I definitely recommend waterproofing it. I also wish there was more protection for all those components inside because the sides of the chassis don't go very high. There is alot of debris that can get into it. Also, the steer tires will rub the cover pretty severely if you don't trim it. More recently the controller has been malfunctioning a bit and it will want to be in reverse instead of neutral. Definitely needs a larger stock battery since you'll only get maybe 30 mins out of it.So all in all it has some small issues, but having the bigger tires and wide stance has been quite fun.

I’m a woman over 55 who has 2 small dogs who need exercise. They won’t fetch a ball or frisbee. I got this remote control truck and they love to chase it! it’s a big hit at the park with kids too, as they all enjoy chasing the dogs and I let them use the remote control. The Truck is great on grass, dirt and uneven terrain…lots of speed and we get 45 minutes for each battery charge. It comes with 2 chargers. It’s great for anyone from ages 3 to 100!
Real fun
The media could not be loaded. A lot of fun. Although we already spent the same amount for spare parts lol. Because the way my son drive it, nothing will last forever. Still, very happy with the purchase.
Fantastic rc car
These cars are awsome, fast as and can take a decent hit. Initially i bought it for my dog to chase, but i ended up having more fun than the dog! Bought a second one as they are so much fun, great on gravel and short grass. Slows down a bit in the longer grass, takes a decent knock with no damage. Can get dusty and dirty with no issues, just avoid water.

10 months of owning the RC car the steering wheel stopped working.Contacted DEERC for support. They diagnose the problem.They send me a replacement servo and an instructional video on how-to replace the servo.My son is happy & can play his RC car again.Thank you DEERC for their great support.
