I got my HORI Apex wheel and pedals yesterday; I have a 30" ultra-wide 2650x1080 200 Hz monitor.this is PC number 3 and will be dedicated to racing. Cost me over a hundred bucks out the door!setup was fairly easy, I watch a lot of videos, went to Hori website downloaded all I needed, and off I went.This is a very good entry-level set-up, our grand kids love it!Two days latter, I ordered a second steering wheel, so both grandsons could play together!They are young teens and don't need anything better for now...good enough.this a budget friendly product of high quality, I recommend it highly/

I bought this for my gamer husband and he said it was perfect for his racing game. I'd say its worth the purchase. He had no trouble hooking it up to his PS5.

So I will start this off by saying yes this is a nice set up for beginners and people tight for cash or who don't want to send big to other wheels. It does the job just fine once you get it set up and calibrate your settings. Once you do unless you want to find tune you don't need to do it again. But that said, you can feel where effort was put in and where it wasn't for sure. Mostly the wheel is a little bit flimsy and has some flex on it, and no rumble or feedback so on games like gt7 you really got to pay attention. Other then that I do actually like it. I do plan on eventually upgrading but it gets the job done and make racing games so much more fun.

So before you buy it be aware that you can change the dead zone and sensitivity. I found a video for it. Anyway for dead zone, have the switch at the top right it'll read (DP/LS/RS) put it into DP hold assign for 3-5 seconds (a light will come on) (center right) then hit options (a light will come on) (center left) use the D-pad up and down to switch it to your preferred setting. The color will change. Then hit assign again to set it. Same thing for sensitivity but have it in LS mode. I think there are seven colors green being the less responsive and white being most responsive. You can also reset everything to original settings. I think you hit assign options and then share but I can't remember if that is correct 🤦 Also final thought, I had to have mine on normal mode on ps4 not steering but i can still use the steering so idk what those two really do because in steering mode you can't use the D-pad. I hope this helps. I bought mine used and had no manual.

This steering wheel looks nice, is nice to the touch, and all you do is plug it into your PS4 and it works immediately. I tried two other steering wheel/pedal controllers before buying this one and had to return both of them because one didn't work at all and the other one's pedals didn't work. Those were supposed to be compatible with a PS4, but they were junk.The one's that I returned were about $100 each and this really good one was $120. I definitely recommend paying the extra $20 to get a MUCH higher quality product that actually works as advertised.

I used the wheel for general racing game stuff, playing games like Project Cars 2 and Gran Turismo Sport + Gran Turismo 7.And it was great.. for three months. The wheel acted about what you'd expect. After all, it's a very cheap wheel made of basic plastic bits. It didn't have that much finesse and nothing was fantastic, but it was cheap and it did the job.The issue is that with every cheap thing, you really do get what you pay for. Hori isn't some no name company but this is still a very cheap product and today.. it broke on me. The throttle pedal just completely died and started acting strangely and not responding well to my inputs. I tried everything. I tried calibrating the pedals in games, I tried using the onboard sensitivity adjustments, I even connected it to my PC and ran a software update. Nothing fixed it.Even worse, the brake pedal completely broke after I tried adjusting its sensitivity! A red light came on for it and I couldn't get it to shut off or fix itself at all! So now I have this 120 dollar box worth of plastic and I'm not a happy customer.You get what you pay for. Just buy a Logitech G29 instead. You get FFB and you know its a reputable brand.

Works well but foot pedal is wired in to the wheel. It took a week before it snapped and we had to use the warranty. A wire running across the living room where people walk is not smart. Neither is the fact that you can't replace the cable. Shouldve been a USB.

Very Sturdy if Installed correctly
The media could not be loaded. Could bot be easier, you literally take the the one piece and screw it in so the suction cups are facing up and it comes with a big screw and a way to turn it. Then you plug it in and switch it to steering mode on the top so it works with the pedals as well. It is extremely precise and I feel the price is just right I would not pay anymore for a gaming steering wheel. Very happy with the performance

The steering wheel is not bad, I have use for while on GT7 game and, I do like the steering wheel,the steering wheel is solid and for the price i pay is not bad, nice and easy to ajust how you like, the steering wheel is not noise, is nice soft. Does have good performance
